My upset pick of the week: Bills over Dolphins.
Commence to start!
I just read that Steve Smith did not travel with the team to Minnesota. 0-2 start for the Panthers?
My fantasy lineup is already changed.
I still think they beat Minnesota though.
Chiefs over Broncos. Yes, I'm taking a Huard brother on the road. No, I don't have any money on it. So, who cares.
It'd be real nice to see CAR start 0-2.
Az-Hakim, signed for 3 days, is active ahead of Mike Williams. Sire Hakim used to be with Martz and used to be in DET but the Lions are playing him outside - not in the slot.
Mike Irvin should be shot. What an idiot.

He's so farging stupid, not to mention he doesnt even know how the hell to laugh with his stupid wonderbraling shtein.
Wow, ca
ckling is "wonderbraling?" :-D
What did that little mothafarga say?
Anyone watching Fox? Jimmy Johnson is getting booed every time he speaks, and Joe Buck is a giant tool.
He was doing the only thing he knows how to do these days - defend TO like crazy. I thik they are gay lovers.
Also, although its possible he was the only shteinface to pick the Giants over Eagles out of Ditka, TJ and Jaworski, and the dickface himself.
Rex Grossman has passed for nearly 200 yards and 3 TDs in the first half against the Lions.
I am so pleased I took Daunte Culpepper in my money league. He has really been worth it.

The Lion's still suck. That'll team Roy Williams to open his farging mouth.
Favre: 31/55, 340, 3 TDs, 1 INT, Packers lose at home again
yeah Titans
Collins and Young are a combined 8/26 for 84 yards with 0 td and 2 int. :-D
Is there a worse team than the Titans? I submit there is not. And there are some pretty friggin bad teams out there. Art Shell is the only one who can topple them.
In overtime:
Broncos 9, Chiefs 6 zzzzzzzz
Niners beat the Rams. 20-13
Smith threw for 233 yds and a TD. Need we worry? :paranoid
They had 6 sacks too.
I am not sweating them. They'll kick the shtein out of SF.
NBC is shteinting all over Mario Williams. They picked out and spot shadowed all his near misses on Manning.
I so want the taterskins to get the shtein beat outta them.
And Andrea Kreamer just said that Vanderjerk told her he's never kicked in the rain but he thinks he might be OK.
I hate that dude. Go back to Canada, dooshbag.
I'm sorry... but even under the circumstances, I still can't bring myself to root for a Cowboys win.
Frank Gore is the only real threat that 49er team has. He's putting together a pretty good season so far, at least against other shtein NFC West teams.

Deservedly so when Casserly said they took Williams specifically to pressure Manning...
QuoteBengals | C. Johnson bloodied and woozy

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns S Brian Russell's high hit knocked off Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Johnson's helmet on the Bengals' final pass of their Week 2 game, leaving his white No. 85 jersey spotted with blood. Johnson had still had glassy eyes and several stitches just below his chin when he emerged from the trainer's room. He was too disoriented to conduct an interview. "I talked to Chad," QB Carson Palmer said. "He's a little loopy. He's a little out of it."
Anyone see the hit?
He got knocked the farg out. Russell put it to him.
I'll be rooting for an implosion of Texas Stadium.

So rip on Charlie Casserly. Don't make Williams look stupid. I think the Texans blew it too by not taking Bush, but it's not Williams' fault.
Did anyone see that moronic lateral today by the Panthers that cost them the game?

Chris Gamble, from THE Ohio State University, with the big play there.
Ol' TO with the alligator arms on that 3rd down.
Ha. I wanted Gamble in the 04 draft. I remember he ended up getting drafted in the Eagles spot after they traded up, pick 28 I think.
Given the state of our secondary, I'd love to have Gamble right now...
I don't like seeing Dallas score, and I don't like that I liked that one. Someone get Trent Cole to kick me in the balls, please.
Sad to say, but the Falcons are now the team to beat in the NFC. The defense is ridiculous, and that was done without Abraham.
90 yards passing is disgusting, but this team reminds me of a poor passing offense and very good defense one year that went very far...take a guess?
The Falcons? They played the Bucs and the Panthers so far. They've had competition as stellar as the Bears. Wait until mid season to annoint the Falcons. And the East is looking weak once again. It'll come down to Philly and the Giants most likely and Philly has a chance to have a big lead come their bye week if they stop farging around.
nah, I look at that rushing offense and the way they block on that O-line is sick. They went against 2 very good D-lines and shredded them with gaping holes to run through
the problem they might have is Vick running the ball too much. His chances of getting hurt are oh say.......90%.
You gotta wait a while before you jump on the Falcons bandwagon though. Remember, this is a team that started out 6-2 last year on their way to 8-8 season... with a pretty healthy team.
Once they beat Carolina, I knew they were going 2-0. Not so much because of the Bucs, but because they were playing in the Dome. The Falcons are a beast at home.
Vick was hurt last year Feva
Vick was out there playing though. He missed 1 game... and he still ran the ball. Maybe not as much as he would like, but he still was all over the place.
He sure wasn't hurt enough to warrant losing 6 of their last 8 games.
Feva lives in Atlanta, and he's black. So I trust his opinion. Mostly because of the blackness.

Credibility for days...
It won't even last that long. Flaunt it while you got it.
The Credibility or the Blackness?

The Credibility or the Blackness?
Ha! The former... but if keeping the latter is even a question for you, then you've lost the credibility anyway.
So, now you've lost your credibility and you're questioning your own blackness. See, that didn't last long.
shtein! I'm in trouble. This thing didn't work out too well for Michael Jackson. :paranoid
Stay away from the children and Jesus juice, you should be fine in a couple weeks.

The Bears are I think right now. They have the best defense, and the offense is playing well. I don't know how long that'll last though.
jesus people, it's week 2. i'm not gonna put money on a new orleans - baltimore super bowl just yet.
But.... OHMYGOD Reggie Bush!
So, just now getting off the football hangover, I watched the first DVR'd ShortCuts game - Saints at Packers.
Some thoughts:
--The Packers' OL is not as horrendous as advertised, or the Saints' front seven is really bad. Either way, most of the pressure on Favre was from his running around like an idiot. I don't know if he ever was able to sit in the pocket and make plays, but he sure preferred to run around in this one.
----Following from that, the Packer offense looked a lot similar to the Eagle offense with one key difference: McNabb is more comfortable making plays out of the pocket, so timing is better.
--The Saints really are not very good...
----On defense, there were Packer receivers open on every play - problem for Favre was that he took some of the routes out of play with his constant scrambling.
----On offense, the line is pretty bad, and Brees looked very average at best behind it.
--Reggie Bush is like lightening, even in the NFL - but he too often looks to make moves when he should just get what he can out of something. He'll learn, though... probably when he messes up his knee with all the twisting.
--I don't know how Donald Driver is still so quick.
--On the flip side, Joe Horn has definitely lost a step.
a step? he wasnt close to out-running anyone on that defense on that long pass play. he was so far ahead he lost every step he had..unreal. I see him tweaky a hammy by week 5

He was still able to get open in the first place, so that's a start.
you are correct sir
I watched another last night: Rams at 49ers...
--Alex Smith looked like the better QB in that game. He took shorter drops and made quick decisions. He seemed to have a knack for getting rid of the ball right before it got swatted out or he got hit, but I look for him to fumble a few times this year getting the ball knocked out from the blind side.
--Bulger, on the other hand, took deep drops right into the edge blitz of the 49ers and ended some plays before they started. Bad coaching on the Rams' part to let him keep doing that.
--Both runningbacks played a great game. The blocking was good (actually I'm going to give the edge to the 49ers OL), but Gore and Jackson both made something out of nothing. And the 49ers were able to RUN THE CLOCK DOWN with Gore at the end of the game. That's was a refreshing thing to watch. Gore did have a key fumble in the red zone, though.
--Both defenses relied on blitzing to make plays. San Francisco made the adjustments on offense to protect Smith, and as I said, the Rams seemed to stubbornly stick to a beaten game plan. Hmmmm
--JR Reed still looks better than anyone the Eagles have had returning kicks.
Even though it's still incredibly early, I'm prepared to say that I may have been mistaken by thinking Alex Smith would be a bust. He's looked pretty good through the first 2 games this year.
Smith 1, Me 0
