Great game today, looks like he has some serious weapons on offense.
He was making bad throws, bad decisions, and not getting sacked. So, yes.
He's just working out a little rust, thats all. I'll take those three TD passes with whatever bad ones he has anyday.
I wont say until we see how he does in the brutal 2nd half of the season. Playing well against the cream puffs is expected.
yeah and next week, while only week 2, is a big game for us. we were swept by the nfc east. we need to beat the giants. big game.
but then again nothing to complain about...he had one INT but overall he was awesome and did what he had to do...beat a bad team.
edit: if this game showed anything its that stallworth and mcnabb might be great together for a hopefully long time.
The INT was a comination of a bad choice and a great grab.

yeah i really thought that was one opportunity where he should have just ran for yds.
Even if he does run like Bernie Kosar now.
If McNabb was mentally stronger, he could have thrown for 4 TDs.

Also if Reid wasn't such a Hoyda at the end of the game.

yeah wtf...he is only his 8th season but he seems to have slowed down a lot. the old mcnabb could dart down the field for 50 yd TDs.
edit: still he should be faster than the DEs and some LBs in madden. he is slow as hell in madden.
All the completions and the TD and at the end of the first half masked him letting 15 seconds tick off unnecessarily.
His clock management sucks! CHOKER!
is he back? when did he leave? negladelphi
He left on Saturday. He had a game in Houston.
OH RLY?!?
No.

:-D :-D
Yeah, it was bad. What was it, 56 seconds on the clock when they got the ball at the end of the half? They went down field pretty damn quick.
But seriously, after that first play to Stallworth, they literally let more than 10 seconds tick off before they called the timeout. It obviously worked out just fine, but that was very, very stupid.
It's more Reid's fault than McNabb's, IMO.
If the defense shows up this year, all he has to do protect the ball and not make alot of stupid mistakes...
welcome back...welcome back....wel-come baaaaaaack
Thanks, my business kept me "out-of-pocket" for several months but i'm back now and just in time for the season!! I missed this place...how pathetic is that?
On the scale of pathetic, that ranks so near the top that your family (if they care about you at all) is probably planning an intervention.

I think from watching him in pre-season and yesterday, he's throwing the ball into tight coverage more than he ususally does, and this could lead to him throwing more picks than usual. I just hope that he has Bwest for 16 games. That in itself will eliminate a lot of his mistakes if he only has to throw the ball 3 or 4 yards. Having Westbrook playing like he was yesterday opens the whole field up for McNabb to hit guys like Stallworth.
