Why not keep Collins? Why sign Brooks and not go after a real QB?

i think they are going to cut Brooks, let Walters start and use George for a backup/elder wisdom type of deal

He'll probably be re-signed after the 1st week. Being a vested veteran his contract would be guaranteed if he's on the roster week 1.
