Prices for scalped tickets are down big time, almost no tickets are moving off of RazorGator.
Watch for a glut of tickets to be offered on the Eagles Wait List Site each week of the game. If you are on the Wait List there is no reason to but tickets from any scalper. The eagles will be receiving all of the unsold tickets they slid to "their partner' RazorGator. They will be made available thru ticketmaster anf the Wait List site and FACE VALUE.
Just a heads up for real fans that actually want to use the tickets instead of scalping them. The more the scalpers lose the faster we get rid of every one of those a-holes and free tickets up for the fans. Whether the Eagles F.O. cares or not. I'd rather see it happen without the Birds having to go 2-14 for three straight seasons, but whatever it takes.

Just because some f'ing scalper lists a set of tickets for $799, doesnt mean that is what they are going for.
Be smart, learn the system and you will be able to see games for alot less if you go into a ticket search blindly.

Now why would an NFL team get in bed with a tickets scalper if they weren't getting a slice of the profits? What could they possibly get other than that, to break their own rule of ticket scalping for Eagles games? You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure this out.
You want proof? How's this......last year once the Eagles are out of the race for the playoffs, 100s if not 1000 of tickets are released for all of the remaining home games. Now everyone knows that every game is sold out for the season. So where do the Eagles come up with 1000s of tickets to sell people on their wait list, to games that were supposedly sold out? They were the tickets the Eagles gave to RazorGator that no one was buying when the team tanked. And there were entire rows of tickets together (24 seats in one row for the Giants game). Why aren't those tickets in the hands of Eagles fans as season tickets?
And if you go out to RazorGator right now, there are sets of tickets for every game that number up to 20 together. Which season ticket holder gets 20 tickets together? Why would the Eagles sell 20 tickets together to someone who puts every one of them on a scalpign site?
When check out eBay. Why are sellers in Florida, California and Texas selling hundreds of tickets to games in Philadelphia? The Eagles have put themselves in a position where they can't stop the scalping of tickets and the raping of their own fans, because THE EAGLES are doing it too.

Now that I've made my feelings on this issue clear, our new house-troll is trying to do what day-traders have done for years. See, what they do is "sell short" - they make money on a stock when it's price drops. So they get the options all ligned up, and then go on the message boards and start bad-mouthing the stock..."Did you hear, they aren't going to make a profit this year" "I heard their CEO is on drugs" "What is going to happen with the thus-and-such lawsuit? They could go out of business if they lose". Then they go on to their favorite online trading post, and voila, the stock just dropped a few points because the losers who paid attention just ran off and sold.
This loser is hoping that if he spreads the word that ticket prices are dropping, that people will hesitate in response to his claim - "maybe if the prices are dropping I can save a few bucks." Fewer people buy, less demand, prices actually do go down. Scalpers "lose" money, ttlwtfever is happy.
Problem is that ttheaduphisbutt doesn't understand basic business, and that the scalpers do not have an emotional stake in this process, so they can make money no matter what people do. Keep in mind, there are a few time slots when tickets are going to be the most in demand, based on the basic assumption that people want to see the team they root for win:
1) Pre-season, for teams that were good last year. "Damn, I didn't get through to ticketmaster, guess I'm going to have to pony up."
2) Early-season, for teams that come out of the gate better than expected. "Hey, if they are this good now, maybe they can be able to beat <arch-rival>"
3) Late-season "big games" - "I gotta be there for this"
So, it doesn't make economic sense for scalpers to panic now - anything that is selling low now might skyrocket in value in a month.
Further, keep in mind - scalpers are not the gamblers, they are the house. Yes, they might lose on tickets for one team, but rest assured they more than make up for it from the teams that do well.
This battle will not be won with the scalpers - it is simple supply and demand, and for NFL football, demand far exceeds demand. It can only be won with the teams / leagues who allow scalping to continue. We come full circle to my original point - if the teams profit from scalpers (even if there is no super-secret scam going on - just advertising revenue) they have no interest in stopping scalping.
You've never once justified your anger at the Eagles having a relationship with RazorGator when you yourself have admitted to buying tickets for the sole reason of scalping them.
I can post link after link to the EMB where you've admitted to buying tickets on Ticketmaster for no other reason than to turn a profit.

I don't have 20 seats together for every game and scalp every one of them. I had 6 (THAT'S SIX!) tickets for Eagles games this year.
And since the EAGLES do allow it I sell tickets that I cannot use. There was no way I was climbing to the top of the stadium.

I have my seats and I'm happy as a clam with them. I get to as many games as I can afford to living out of the Delaware Valley and when I don't go to the games, I sell them to a lifelong friend of mine for face value. I don't make a dime off of my seats and if I had extras, I'd either sell them to the guys here or on the EMB because I know they're true fans.
