ESPNews reports the New England Patriots have given WR Deion Branch permission to seek a trade.

This is the Eagles we're talking about here. No way Branch wants to go to a team where the most important thing they're concerned with is the amount of cash they have left under the salary cap.

Meanwhile, the Patriots traded rookie RB Patrick Cobbs to the Steelers, which could mean the end of Duce, and they also cut LBs Monty Beisel, Chad Brown, and DB Eric Warfield.
Supposedly Seattle is offering a 1st round pick for him.

Yeah, I read that too. I guess if they win the super bowl it's worth it. But anything else makes this trade a complete steal for the Pats.......assuming it goes through.
