This is the Eagles we're talking about here. No way Branch wants to go to a team where the most important thing they're concerned with is the amount of cash they have left under the salary cap.

It's getting ugly in NE--Branch and his agent have filed a grievance against the Pats and want the Special Master to hear it today.

Meanwhile, the Patriots traded rookie RB Patrick Cobbs to the Steelers, which could mean the end of Duce, and they also cut LBs Monty Beisel, Chad Brown, and DB Eric Warfield.

Yeah, I read that too.  I guess if they win the super bowl it's worth it.  But anything else makes this trade a complete steal for the Pats.......assuming it goes through.
