I was going to say the play of Pinkston, but I guess that's out of the picture
1. The play of the defensive line again
2. The play of the offensive lines against a tougher defense
3. The play of the backup QBs against a tougher defense
4. The play of the receivers
5. How Buckhalter does
That's about it for me. A lot of questions were answered in the last 2 games.
I look for 3 safeties in the game to outperform the great Sean Taylor.

Jam31's obligatory visit
ha
pg hates that guy more than even me
No injuries. Except for Buckhalter. Let's end this already.
Baskett, Brown, McCants and Avant against Chris McAlister and Samari Rolle.
NO GODDAMN INJURIES.
Them announcing that Ashley Lelie will be in Philadelphia for practice on Saturday.
I want to see a lot of injuries to people who I want to be cut.

I'm looking forward to that about as much as Truck Rathman's visit when the birds play in SF.
I want to see the game get cancelled because of poor field conditions.

Couldn't agree more but Lelie to Philly I am pretty sure that is not going to happen.
looking for some good looks from Buckhalter, Moats, and whoever else they throw back there OTHER THAN MAHE.
WRs to create more optimism for the fans vs a better Defensive Core.
More work for the young ones to go against 1st team of the Ravens to see what they really got.
I want to see how Avant and McCants play, the mosts.

Mahe's making this team. Might as well go ahead and accept it, dog.
I'd rather have Mahe make the team than Buckhalter, honestly. That horse needs to be put down.
Does Vegas have odds on which knee will go first?
I'll bet it ends up being something unexpected. Like late-onset sudden infant death syndrome.
That's pretty fargin' late.
I'd rather have Mahe make the team than Buckhalter, honestly
thats retarded....buckhalter making this team is huge for their success...do i think hes gonna make it no...do i think they should have got a non injured competant rb to go with westbrook six months ago yes...but to not want buck to make it much less want mahe over him is plain stupid

they should trade a 3rd for TJ Duckett or whatever they need to. That way you only have the OLB spots as your weakspot.
i'm going to be looking for my spare garage door opener.

No.
I don't think their success depends on it, but if somehow, and that's a big IF, Buck's kness can last an entire season, it will definitely be a huge help.
It makes me angry that Mahe is going to still be on this team.
I don't think Buck will make it, but I don't see how anyone would not want him to. A healthy Buck is better than any RB not named Westbrook.
"A healthy Buck" no longer exists. Ever.
metal is stronger than muscles and bone, therefore buck is stronger than ever.
he's like Wolverine. without the quick healing, obviously.

This is my point. I'd rather have IGY in the backfield than have Buck taking up a roster spot because everyone on Earth knows how that story ends.
That's a stretch. Everyone knows you don't use white RBs.
Racist.

Yes. For many reasons.
There looks to be quite a few backs possibly on the market right now, Eagles need to put up a 3rd round DP and get on with it. This is a glaring weakness and Rubberband Man wont be healthy the entire year. With a bruiser back we can get that tough 3rd and 1 or 2 rather than expectiing McNabb to lean over for it. If the WRs continue their ascent then only the OLB positions are weak on this team, and some depth on the OL could be used as well.
Duckett
Barlow
Chris Shelton
Trading a 3rd for any of those guys would be silly.
A third for Duckett is good value for what this team needs.
Only if we assume that 3rd would be the #32 pick in the 3rd round and not closer to #16.
I'd be ok with a conditional pick based on performance incentives.
WYSP. Pre-season games available for free on the web?
When is Duckett a FA?
its becoming painfully obvious that the Eagles dont give up a 3rd for anything
they gave up a 3rd for chris gocong
But they will trade a 4th and a 6th for a white linebacker.
But Trent Cole only cost them a 5th they got in trade for James Thrash.

The last game was...
hell they gave up plenty of 2nds, 3rds, 4ths for LBs that arent even with the team. Why shouldnt a backup RB be worth anywhere in the 3rd? You have to base the DP on what you need now, not next year. IF the Eagles could get that big back to help spell Westbrook and get the tough yards towards a SB Ring why not?
Obviously, they're planning on using that 3rd round pick next year to get another injury-prone scatback.

preaching to the choir big guy.
gocong is solid. didn't you guys see his combine photo?
not an ounce of fat on that boy.

Excellent points. Shame the game already happened, and there was no reason to dig up this thread. Good job. :boo
