Title: OT: Should I take this Eagles/Sixers bet

A guy on the Sixers board claims that the Sixers will finish with a higher winning percentage then the Eagles.  I believe it will be the opposite.  For every percentage point that one team wins more then the other, the one party would have to pay the other party 50 dollars.  So if the Eagles finish 10-6, .625, and the Sixers finish 41-41, .500, he'd have to pay me around 600 dollars. 

There's no way I can lose this bet, right???

You can lose any bet hence the term, but this is a pretty good one.  The Sixers figure to be worse than they were last season.  And if the Eagles can stay at least somewhat healthy I figure they will win at least 8 games.

Yeh, that's what I was thinking.  However, my luck, I make this bet, and the Sixers end up making a complete turn around and run away with the Atlantic haha.

I swear Feva, if the Eagles go in the tank because you told somebody to take a bet about the 6ers...

Haha.  This guy is really pompous too, that's why I called him out on it.  He claims the Eagles at best will be 7-9, and so the Sixers will have a better winning percentage.

The Sixers could win the Atlantic and still have a sub-500 record.

"a guy on the sixers board" isnt paying you 60 dollars for a lost bet much less 600 so i dont even know why youre discussing this

He's made bets before and kept to them.  Paypal is a nifty thing ya know.
