Title: Will he actually run the ball this year ?
Post by: moats23 on June 28, 2006, 11:31:25 AM
He's been saying all off season that he needs to get back to a more balanced attack, but do you believe him ?  I'm seeing the first play of the year, and it's that dopey 1 yard out to Pinkston on first down.  I hate that damn play.

actually the first play of the year will be the kickoff and it will go to Mahe, who will proceed to MCHammer to the left, Kid N Play kick step to the right, do a Humpty Hump and then get clocked like a Tyson comeback

after that, next play....ummm...playaction?

What do you consider balanced? 60/40, 50/50?

I had some free time today & rewatched the 2004 Panthers game where that farger dropped an easy pass that would have had them with a 1st on the Panthers 15-20 yd line.  They ended up settling for a FG. The score couldn't be run up enough that day.

Heard Kirwan and some other guy on NFL Radio saying that Reid does intende to run more this season, that in his opinion (Kiran's) he has the offensive line that can do it, and according to Kirwan: "Moats is a much better runner between the tackles than people giv ehim credit for."

That wouldn't really be too difficult, would it?
