Looks the same to me too. PG, are you sure you didn't just fall off the phone book again? :P
looks the same here at least in the past month or so...when they did update the design some.
There is a link on the top of the page that let's you view the "new" layout. My bet is you accidentally clicked it. You can click on a link on the top-left that will let you switch back to the old page.
I can't believe I went through the trouble of researching and finding a solution to this. Reminds of my days on the helpdesk. I should go die, painfully.

Being a Philly sports fan probably covers that. Slow and painful.
I kinda' like the new layout.

You should, because i'm right as usual.
Peple actually go to yahoo? Why?
Force of habit.
I use My Yahoo as my start page. Serves as a great portal, since I use a Yahoo mail address, and keep my bookmarks through there.
i've been using myyahoo for years now...
I started using MYYahoo only recently...maybe just the past few months. I like the portal effect. But I still search with Google.
My home page is the sexiest of all (//http://).

I've been using it for years. I like that I can see my e-mail, see my fantasy football teams, access my bookmarks from anywhere all from one page, view TV listings (and record to Tivo), see my stock prices, etc. And I've added some nice RSS feeds that round it out. I couple that with the Yahoo toolbar for easier access to my bookmarks. I think it's great.

I like it, too. Like Sus, I started using My Yahoo just a few months ago (and still use Google for seaches), but appreciate many of the features that Zanshin mentions. Very handy, I use it every day.
I didn't click on anything. As a matter of fact, I even cleared my cache and cookies and went back to Yahoo and the new layout is still there.
I think you've been hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok......

I think the term is "Yahoo-ed".
I do have a small problem with using it at work. Between my browser's internal cache and the cache of the company's firewall proxy, things sometimes get confused. It thinks there is mail when there isn't, and sometimes I have to quit the browser and clear the cache to get it to see new mail.
Zanshin, is the bookmarks thing only part of the toolbar? I haven't installed that yet. I tend to be paranoid about stuff like that.

It interacts with Tivo? I've been using it for a long time but knew nothing of this. Do tell...

if you have your tivo connected to your broadband network instead of the phone line, you can set the yahoo TV listings in my yahoo to talk to it. just click on the show and it gives you the option....

I'm going to have to check that out. It's a DVR liscensed by TIVO so I don't know if it is possible to hook into my broadband but that would be pretty sweet.

No, you can import, add and manage your bookmarks from the My Yahoo page directly...but I like the toolbar because it makes it easier to use my bookmarks from any page, rather than going back to My Yahoo every time I want to access a bookmark. Since I use both IE and Firefox, the toolbar makes it easy to have my bookmarks available consistently from any browser on any internet connected computer. I've never had any problems with it.
