Title: Rescue Me
Post by: DH on May 30, 2006, 07:18:15 PM
Anyone watch? Season 3 starts tonight...

I've never seen it but I plan on giving it a shot tonight. I love Leary, and its a cable show so it has the ability to be more daring that the FCC will let the regular networks be.

If I like it I'll probably rent the first 2 seasons.

Thanks for telling us all about your plans to consume cable television entertainment.

Dude, someone shoved a q-tip up your cockhole today didn't they. There's a thread for every goddamned thing anyone thinks of here. Finish your G&T and walk the dog for farg's sake.

The thread was started to see if anyone has watched the show, maybe get some reviews, etc.

I'm gonna take a stab though and guess that you knew that, but instead you decided to display your incredible wit nonetheless. I can only wish I was that good. Damn.

You got it backwards.  She needs out, then I get the drink.  You know me pretty well, though.

Television sucks.

Denis Leary has landed the role of his life, from what I read.  He'll attract even more consumers this year, and then he'll be making Die Hardesque movies.  It'll be great.

it's a great show, do yourself a favor and watch seasons 1 and 2 first though.  you'll be a bit lost.

Thats what I was gonna do, but I was reading the paper today and they revealed a few things about the first 2 seasons that I wish I would have seen. Its OK though because I promised myself I would forget them before watching either season.

All I know is that Leary's ex-wife is McNulty's ex-wife in The Wire, a much better show even though I've never seen Rescue Me and do like Leary.

I enjoy the show, but it's always a major downer.

You farged up because RJS was talking to Diodouche, not you Die-Hard

Hey retard, Die-Hard was talking to Dio, too.

This thread really shouldn't be this confusing.

FX original shows are immune to the bullshtein that gets written into most television today.

Rescue Me
The Shield
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

are all great shows, and I hear Nip/Tuck is good too, although I've never seen it

and FF, yes it is a downer, usually at the end.  but there are some good laughs throughout the show.
