taken in a vacuum and forget the context of the season...the SD game was one of the most exciting football moments i ever had the chance to witness.
the shift in emotions that game was enough to drive someone to the emegency room

yeah, i totally agree, the only reason I didn't bother was because I've seen it a bunch of times and i HATE the play-by-play guy for San Diego.

Shutting down LT was very satisfying, but that woulnd't have been enough without the win.

especially since in the begining of the game, LT was waving his arms to get the crowd louder

It seems like all the good stuff is early in the day...

DVR is cock-locked and ready to rock.

If anyone can burn a DVD copy for me, I'll be happy to cover any costs.  I don't have cable/NFL network.

				nice find!
I'm going to make sure I run home and lunch and record all that good stuff :)

Ditto for me...
I remeber watching that game with Phanatic and our families at the local chicken wing place.  About 4 minutes left in the game, and the manager turned the game off of the big screen, and not even on to a little screen somewhere.
I'm afraid that the junior Demons and the junior Phanatics got a lesson about how to verbally beat a man down to submission that day.  It didn't take long.   :evil

Actually, I could use a DVD as well.  Some of us have to work for a living, and us poor teachers can't afford a DVR.  ;)

[/quoteFor some reason the board puts in those slashes. I thought your union was the US education association. A rose by any other name smells as sweet. And the teachers union sucks! It is pure evil. Tenure is the downfall of the education system in this country.

1.  The two national teacher unions are the National Educators' Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).
2.  I am a member of neither.

Those who can think originally, do.
Those who can't, quote others.
Those who can't use the quote feature have posts that end up looking like that.

I clicked "quote" and it didn't throw in the backslashes. Go figure.
(I know what part of the board software does that, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how someone would make it visible like that.)

Not trying to continue to get too off-topic, but picking on Teachers is akin to picking on Missionaries. Considering most Teachers are way underpaid for educating our children--especially these days when too many parents are also leaving most of life's lessons on the school system in addition to Reading, Math and History--Teaching these days is a choice made by most because they want to help others learn and grow, not because they are motivated by the pursuit of wealth.
Besides military service, I consider it one of the more selfless professions.
(If anyone wants to pick on Sally Struthers, that's still ok.)

It's funny how she's been asking for money for starving kids in Africa for all these years and yet the kids are still starving and she continues to get fatter.

Bullshtein!! The goals of the teachers\\\' union and the insane tenure system is to protect teachers, not to educate children. I do agree that teaching can be a truly altruistic profession, but outcome counts. Results count!
And by the way, those slashes keep going in anytime I use quotation marks in that post. Susq, could it have something to do with the fact that I am forced to use an IP hider?

I just joined normal society last week & finally got Comcast digital cable, including the NFL Network.
I only really got into Eagles football in the 1990 & was finally able to watch highlights of the 1981 Eagles/Raiders Superbowl via the OnDemand feature. Much like Superbowl XXXIX, I felt like turning it off before the game was over & whipping my new remote at the dog.  Anyone who ever says that McNabb could never be like Jaworski should have his nuts scooped out with a spork, at least from what I could see, Jaworski's failure in the SB was well on par with McNabb's.

Yeah, but Ron Jaworski was a gritty, Philly type guy. You know, blue collar and all. Unlike that spoiled whiney brat Donovan who ran TO out of town and Freddie Mitchell too!

				And probably ran over Buckhalter.

Last year this time we were all caught up in the TO saga.  Now the best we can do is discuss the bad old days and sadistic ways of using spoon/fork hybrids.
Training camp cannot get here soon enough.
Any ideas what to do with a spoon-straw?
