Generally I mean. Whether it's to get a player in the draft or free agency, to build a team an effective way or making the right hire. Do you trust the Eagles front office?
I'm asking because after this disappointing free agency period I feel like many of the posters here lost a lot of trust in the management. No one thinks the Eagles are going to do the right thing anymore be it in free agency(Walker) or the draft.
So, generally, do you trust them?

You are speaking for yourself in both of those comments I presume. I think this FA period has been pretty solid thus far. Has it been ultra exciting? No. Would I call it disappointing? Absolutely not. The only thing I would agree with, is that you equating the lack of a superstar addition to the team equals a poor offseason and lack of FO ability is foolish, to put it mildly.
Do I trust the FO? Based on track record alone, I would imagine if you have been a die hard Eagles fan for a long time, you would have to. This was the first losing season in a long, long time, especially when you consider how quickly things change in the NFL. You could relate the last season to injuries, the MeO debacle, or some FO mistakes, but at this point I think you still have to give them the benefit of the doubt. This upcoming season will be the real test for the FO, and I think in FA department they have done an adequate job of getting the team ready to get back on the horse.

I'm talking about my views on what I'm seeing by the posters. I've said that I think we will get Walker, so I'm not speaking for myself there. But yes, I am disappointed in free agency. I don't think it's been a disaster, but I did want more.
I look at it like this: 30 years of being an Eagles fan I haven't had the constant level of excitment as I've had now. Buddy was great, and I loved his demeanor, but all in all I never thought he'd bring us a championship. Right now, we're in the state of mind (well, most of us anyway) that Reid and the rest of the F/O are on the brink of a Superbowl. Whether they are or not is irrelevant cause I'm drunk and don't generally care what most of you think. But what I know is, no one can deny the success that we've experienced since 2000 has been fantastic. So I'm looking at it like the the Steelers, its a continual struggle that will eventually pay off.
Do I trust these fargers? Sure.

i trust them 65% of the time.
i dont agree with the 2nd paragraph at all.
For the most part yes. Just because we didn't pick up a big name guy like(shteinbag) doesn't mean our FO isn't doing their job. We did pick up a solid addition to the line this year in Howard. I feel very confident about this pick-up. Sure I would love to see them make a move for walker, but the physical is going to be the ultimate judge if we can even get him here. I am not going to be pissed at them for not geting him. There are other teams with more to offer. The draft is yet to happen so again this is our biggest draft in like 4-6 years no doubt. We will see next week. For the most part yes, I do trust them.
Well, I trust their decisions more than I trust the opinions popular with the fans. I think they know what they are doing. If the Eagles stink again this year, I'll change my mind.
I trust them to do what it takes to make the most possible amount of money. Even if that means losing football games.
this cant be a yes or no question...one thing you cant do is strictly judge by the games theyve won as most of those years were carried by a ray rhodes defense...and imo this front office by not doing certain things cost this team a superbowl...that said i credit them for getting to the superbowl and that definitely counts for a lot...i tend to lean towards that being an abberation not the norm...
ill be generous right now and on a 1-10 trust scale give them a 5...with the next year or two being the most important of their tenure

If this were true, why did Rhodes go 6-9-1 in 1997 and 3-13 in 1998, and 1-2 in the playoffs in four years? Not saying that Reid/JJ didn't inherit some good defensive players, but they get no credit?
I think you're way over-reactionary to one down season, IGY. Jesus, a 5?
I trust them, maybe not as much as I did at this time last season. Have posted this many times in several places in the past six months, I think they earned a bye year in 2005, especially considering the injuries to McNabb. I agree with everything SD_Eagle posted, it pretty much captures how I feel...except, sadly I'm not drunk yet.
Eagles secretly hired Norman Braman to be their new CEO. The Eagles have become the bottom feeders of the NFL in signing free agents and the rest of the NFC East has a new powerhouse.

they didnt have a quarterback for one thing...anyway this isnt a referendum on ray rhodes...
you cant sit there and say that the main reason they were so succesful in their first three playoff runs wasnt because of a defense backed by mostly ray rhodes players
My main problem with the front office is that they constantly preach about relying on the draft instead of free agency, but for the most part, their drafts have sucked....

Give that man a cookie.
