Just bought a car this weekend, so I bought the 30-day unlimited Carfax subscription.
Since I bought my car, I really don't need it anymore.
If anyone here needs a carfax report, send me a PM with the vehicle VIN and your email address. I'll do my best to get a report to you. Yep, free. That's charity....
Ok, I'll bite at another one of your attention whore threads.............
What kind of car did you get?
;)

:yay
:-D
So I guess the carfax report checked out, huh?
Carfax is a pretty kick ass service. I've been looking at cars for the last few days (2005 Mustang GT's) and I was suprised by how much info Carfax provides on their reports. I figured it was just to see if the vehicle had been in any accidents but it tells you damn near everything you could possibly want to know about a specific vehicle. :yay
Yep. When I did my Mustang, I could tell where it was originally owned (NJ), how many owner/drivers it had (1), and where it had been (passed between several dealer auctions between NJ and Central PA).
when i did my own car before trading it in...i found a lot of inacuracies in the service record listed during the time when i owned the car. even the milage report, which i found odd.
i had the car for 7 years and there were at least 8 errors on the carfax report. and there was one fender bender i was in that wasnt listed (but everything was reported when i did it).
