Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers have signed LB Keith Adams (Eagles). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
He'll excel in their system of tackling the guy who catches the punt and/or kick. Watch out for splinters, Bullet!
1 WIL down... 56 to go.
I think it is totally mind boggling that Dhani still has a farging job on this team. The longer this offseason goes on, the more it seems that lump of meat will be the SAM on opening day. :boo
Keith Adams makes the Pro-Bowl..book it
Would many people disagree that he did alright by the Eagles? He was brought in as a special team ace, and was exactly that. Then, he filled in admirably in a larger role, but it became quickly obvious that he was overmatched as anything more than an occasional back up.
I'm glad the Eagles let him go, but I wish him luck nevertheless.

You're right Dio. Once thrown into the starting role it was just to much. I wish him well.
Dio, the voice of reason.
jms246...stop farging making me think you're rjs and change your avatar back to what it was :boom (a nice big-tittied asian wouldn't be a bad place to start...female, not sumo).
I agree with you Dio, except he is the enemy now. I wish him nothing but 0-16. ;D
I'm sure the NFL was looking for an angle to play up our Mon. nighter against Carolina... there it is.
To hell with TO... the Linc's gonna be rockin' when The Bullet comes back to town! :yay
I gave the same face when I wrote it
does a guy who had 1 kinda good year here deserve his own goodbye thread?
When free agency has slowed down to a crawl and the draft is still 2 weeks away... yep.
How is Thomas Davis not starting ahead of him?

Last I heard, Adams was not going to start. Is he?
Heading into training camp, apparently he is...

Wow... maybe our LB situation ain't so bad.
i wouldn't gloat so quickly, you're bone on bone knee away from Sim playing every down at WIL

You could replace "MIKE" for "WIL" and it would also be true.
You know what? I'm starting to like the idea of drafting Ernie farging Sims more and more.

we are also 149 days away from dhani jones starting at sam
luckily, there's a draft in between now and opening day...
unluckily, it's Andy Reid and Heckert who would be picking

that couldnt be a more scarier but truer remark
Maybe it will be like 2002, and the Eagles will take LB's with all three of their first-day picks.
Sims, D'Qwell, Alston?
dqwell :drool
him and sims for the next 5-6 years at lb....i can dream

I guess this move was made so they didn't have to move Davis from SS.
its a shame we couldn't keep him around just for special teams and LB depth on rotation. not quite good enough to start, but great on special teams. but if its his time to go, then let it be.

Enough already, I'm getting aroused.
My top 5 OLB's who I want to see an Eagle:
1. Ernie Sims
2. Clint Ingram
3. Thomas Howard
4. Rocky McIntosh
5. Bobby Carpenter
Sleeper: Terna Nande
ILB
1. Gerris Wilkinson
2. D'Qwell Jackson
3. Abdul Hodge
4. Tim Dobbins
5a. Kai Parham
5b. Freddie Roach
Sleeper: Anthony Schlegel
Andy's planning on playing Reno Mahe at the SAM next season.
dude you dont want to see Schlegel at MLB for the Eagles.
He might turn into a decent backup STs type player who can fill in here and there at MLB if need be. He's kind of like Parham and Roach in the sense that they are slow and can hit. That equals a two down MLB and a STs player. If they picked him up in the 6th-7th I wouldn't hate it at all.
mcintosh is the sleeper in that hes better than them all except for sims and i dont put him to far below ernie
dqwell is a machine

Well, the NFC East and South play each other this year, and the Hoydacats also play Ron Mexico's Falcons twice....so I'll be a nice guy and wish him 5-11.
