Post by: phattymatty on March 30, 2006, 12:24:46 PM
it's a website that will tell you if you have any unclaimed money sitting around (refunds from utility bills, tuition, etc.  someone posted this on the emb and i put in some friends names and a few of them showed up.  i'm not on there but my sister is.  anyway, it's worth a look, could get a few bucks back.

I checked the PA Treasury site, and I found something! I have one old share of Hershey stock I was going to use to get into their DRIP program a while back. I always laughed when I'd get a dividend check in the mail, because it was usually for something like 20 cents, and I knew it cost Hershey maybe 50 cents to print and mail it to me. It was usually not worth the trouble of taking the thing to the bank. Apparently Hershey either turned that one share over to the state, or the state has been collecting my few cents of dividends. Maybe I'll have to investigate.
