Philadelphia Eagles WR Darnerian McCants signed a one-year contract with a base salary of $585,000 (2006).
Philadelphia Eagles QB Jeff Garcia signed a one-year contract with a base salary of $710,000 (2006).
Philadelphia Eagles TE Matt Schobel signed a five-year contract with a base salary of $585,000 (2006), $700,000 (2007), $850,000 (2008), $950,000 (2009), and $865,000 (2010).
I know we also signed Howard and will probably extend some existing players, but geeze! looks as if we get players that are part of a KMart blue light special :-X
Is the FO really going into this season SO MANY MILLIONS under the cap? I know spending isn't always tied to winning, but what does this show to potential Free Agents? where's the commitment??

It was reported by Reuben Frank that Gaffney gets 900K this year (600K base salary and 300K signing bonus).
