Miss Deaf Texas Dies When Hit by a Train (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/03/14/beauty.queen.death.ap/index.html)
This is funny for 3 reasons:
1. There is a Miss Deaf Texas
2. She was alone, deaf and walking on the train tracks
3. Shes dead
wow, it would be awesome if RJS hadn't already posted this
i dont give a crap.
C'mon, Mo, he's still in mourning from Yertle the Turtle's retirement to search threads for redundency.
i didnt see a flippin topic for it, so i posted. now i notice its in some thread called good riddance. like i checked in there. woopdee doooooo.
Off the nuts, youngster.
just so you know, there's nothing really ironic about it.
it would be ironic if the person hit was a person hit by a train was someone who designed track safety or something like that
It's quite the opposite of irony.
its ironic how unironic it really is
It would be if MDS was usually spot on with his definition of irony.
But he's usually an idiot, so this is nothing special.
farg you all
i hate everyone of you

its of my opinion that there isnt a single person in the history of the world thats ever been hit by train that didnt wanna be
i disagree, the detective in Superman clearly thought he could find a way into Lex Luthor's liar before the next train came

to my defense, ive been watching the wire non stop for two weeks now. kick ass show.
best TV show of all-time...and its not really close...granted it has the advantage of being on hbo but still
yea ive started talking like they do on the show, luckily its mostly on message board or in my head. with where i go to school, it would be a recipe for an ass beating.
i've never seen it, therefore, it's not better than Sopranos or The Sheild
never seen the shield, but its not better than the sopranos.
this would be ironic if miss deaf texas was clubbed to death by an animatronic screaming didlo.

Hey, get this tard off me.
haha, nice one. retards suck.
even when the sopranos was at the top of its game the wire is still better...now that sopranos has fallen off its not even close...but when the sopranos was great i could see people liking that as much if youre into the mafia shtein vs ghetto street wars
does the wire personally affect you more because you want to be black?

indeed, although i think it helped him that i read the comment first, and chuckled, then saw who posted it and immediately frowned
arguing on which television show is better = comparing shrinkage
neither show would effect me as much as the euphoria of seeing you beaten and hung by a roving band of negroes
it's not arguing, it's discussing

From the Oscar winner for Best Picture:
QuoteAnthony: Look around! You couldn't find a whiter, safer or better lit part of this city. But this white woman sees two black guys, who look like UCLA students, strolling down the sidewalk and her reaction is blind fear. I mean, look at us! Are we dressed like gangbangers? Do we look threatening? No. Fact, if anybody should be scared, it's us: the only two black faces surrounded by a sea of over-caffeinated white people, patrolled by the triggerhappy LAPD. So, why aren't we scared?
Peter: Because we have guns?
Anthony: You could be right.

fo sho, i rented the first 2 seasons of off netflix as i haven't had hbo in a few years. can't wait for 3rd season to come out.
i would literally watch all 2 or 3 episodes the day a new disc came in the mail.
Other great banter from "Crash":
QuoteGraham: Mom, I can't talk to you right now, OK? I'm having sex with a white woman.
[hangs up, and Ria gets out of bed]
Graham: OK, where were we?
Ria: I was white, and you were about to jerk off in the shower.
Graham: Oh, shtein. Come on. I would have said you were Mexican, but I don't think it would have pissed her off as much.
Ria: Why do you keep everybody a certain distance, huh? What, you start to feel something and panic?
Graham: Come on, Maria. You're just pissed 'cause I answered the phone.
Ria: That's just where I begin to get pissed. I mean, really, what kind of man speaks to his mother that way?
Graham: Oh, this is about my mother. What do you know about my mother?
Ria: If I was your father, I'd kick your farging ass.
Graham: OK, I was raised badly. Why don't you take your clothes off, get back into bed, and teach me a lesson?
Ria: You want a lesson? I'll give you a lesson. How 'bout a geography lesson? My father's from Puerto Rico. My mother's from El Salvador. Neither one of those is Mexico.
Graham: Ah. Well then I guess the big mystery is, who gathered all those remarkably different cultures together and taught them all how to park their cars on their lawns?
QuoteAnthony: You could fill the Staples Center with what you don't know.
Peter: The Kings are playing tonight.
Anthony: Man, I know you just pretend to like hockey to piss me off!

Too many people liked it?
Not saying it's how you personally mean it, but so many times... that seems to be what people mean when they call something overrated. It's like they have to be in the minority to for them to consider anything really good... but the second more than 5 people agree... it's no longer "cool" to like it and it becomes overrated.
He could simply mean that it was a fine movie, but not deserving of the top honor in movies of the year.

so what is your movie of the year, Sun Mo?

Yeah, it's all good. I saw it... loved it. Others I know saw it... hated it, and everything in between. Like I said, I wasn't trying to shtein on your opinion, just wondering.
i dunno, i didn't see them all.
and i'm sure that will lead you to say, "How do you know that it didn't deserve Picture of the Year?"
and i can't honestly answer that, other than when I watched it, i thought it was a good movie, but i never got that knock-your-socks off feeling when watching other award winners. so, maybe it was the picture of the year only because it was a weak crop of movies, that very well could be.
another reason i thought it was overrated was because people were proclaiming to be a real social statement, it wasn't really. it was just a bunch of social cliches, imo.
i thought crash was the best movie i saw in the theaters, by far.
I liked Crash but thought it tried too hard to make its point. A little over the top. Still, definitely the second best movie I saw this year. Capote took that title. Wouldn't want to watch it again, but an outstanding movie.
the best movie i saw this year was dennis the mennace 2. i think it came out at some point in the mid 90's, but it was awsome. the captain from naked gun played dennis grandpa.

have you seen any of season three
nope, i only saw the first 2 seasons since they're on dvd and i don't have hbo. this year coming up will be season 5 right?
i thought season three was the last
i liked the first one the best of the two so far, although the second season with the pollocks get a lot better halfway through the season.
season two was phenomnial but i agree season one was better...not that it means anything but the critics rated season two much higher
PJ's>docks
season one was the best so far
im in the middle of season three, but the whole politics angle dont beat what went on in the pit
season four is about the education system and it comes out i think in sept or jan

Did you see any of the movies it was up against for best picture?
i can't even remember the other movies...anyone else?
I saw the movies up for best picture except for Munich. I would say of the 4 I saw, Crash was as deserving of the award as the rest.
Munich was typical Spielberg cliched crap. An above average movie that shouldn't have gotten a sniff of the oscars.
Capote was excellent. The best of the group.
Crash was good, but as discussed, too over the top to be considered great.
Didn't see the other two.
Capote should have won.
Crash wasn't Oscar worthy, but Titanic was??!! What the hell does Oscar worthy mean anyway. It's all a bullshtein popularity contest, with absolutely no meaning to anyone except the winners, who can pimp out for more money afterwards.
