Lions signed WR Corey Bradford to a four-year, $7.4 million contract, including a $2 million signing bonus.
and
49ers signed WR Antonio Bryant to a four-year, $15 million contract, including a $5 million signing bonus.
Not that we are going to sign another reciever--the Finneran deal sealed that off, but its interesting to know what a #1 reciever in Bryant goes for...chump change. Bryants got some solid hands I thought the Eagles might look at...oh well.
Looks like we might hold off until June when the vets are cut for cap-strapped teams. Better pricetag. Not too much of interest in the other FA's out there right now. Ill take June
Lets go Birds...
yeah, there's about 3 different threads this could've been put in, but thanks. who said that the Finneran deal is a done deal?

With veteran free agent Brian Finneran close to signing with the Philadelphia Eagles over the weekend, the Falcons were able to do what the wide receiver has done for them time and time again — do what was needed to make the catch.
The team announced that it re-signed Michael Vick's favorite wide receiver Monday. Finneran signed a four-year contract.
We'll be fine once we bring Carlos Perez back.

I hope you cleared it with FF and PG before you posted that.
If you don't all cram it we're not going to let you have any offseason.

That's not bad for Bryant if he's really gotten his act together. He's got plenty of talent, enough speed, but he's been inconsistent as hell and his tantrums could be memorable. He'd make some great catches, then drop easy ones that hit him right in the hands. He'd break off or run the wrong routes, freelance...He could drive you nuts. There were times he would get all bent out of shape for not getting the ball, even when a play was run where he knew he wasn't the target, and coaches and players would have to calm him down. People think that throwing the jersey at Parcells was what got him traded, but that was just the final straw. Good luck to him. He's got the ability to be a good one, and he's still young.
