Been in the Ukraine now for about 4 weeks combined, and I must say that Slavutich (http://www.botschaft-ukraine.de/index.php?id=30,107,0,0,1,0) is my new, all-time favorite beer. I drink it at lunch, I drink it at dinner, and I drink it after dinner along with my Russian vodka shots. I think they sell this stuff in the US in certain places, but I've never seen it for sale there. Any one else ever hear of it, or seen it for sale in the US? The Ukrainian spelling of it is: Ñëàâóòè÷
I'm already looking forward to dinner....
Hey Phanatic -- pull some strings and get Auggie to buy this company, and start selling this liquid gold in St. Louis...
Sounds good...except I think your cyrillic characters were garbled, голубой американец.
I know where a Russain restaurant is. That would be your best bet. We'll have to go there and see what they have in the Ukraine, though I always fealt it had a sort of mafioso feel to it. I had a Russain beer there and it was not too bad.
Auggie is too busy killing agave plants at the moment. He'd like to wipe out potatoes too but they are just too wide spread so your Vodka's safe!! :paranoid
