I saw the news footage on this earlier today. The guys who found the baby had a video camera with them for what ever reason.
QuoteMinas Gerais state police Inspector Helcio Sa Bernardes said the baby's mother was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted homicide for putting the baby into the bag, setting it on a board and pushing it into the lake.
The mother, Simone Cassiano da Silva, has denied abandoning the girl. She claimed she gave the baby to a group of homeless people because she didn't have enough money to raise the child.
Yeah, I think that still falls under the definition of abadonment. They should put her in a bag and toss her in the lake. Dumb bitch.
I can't think of anything funny to say. Not because its not joke worthy...I'm just not funny.
Why the frowny face? So someone put a baby in a bag. Who hasn't done that on a crazy winter night from time to time?

Guess I have yet to experience a truly crazy winter night.
Really quick...do kid deaths/tragedies hit home after you start having kids...or is it always like...'oh...man...that sucks...what am I having for dinner tonite?'.
Death Shock Level- Zero.
I'd imagine that like most everything, everyone's going to react differently. Even before I had kids, I hated seeing bad things happen to them, even when I was a kid. It always helped put things in perspective that even though I was pissed off about not getting that cool new toy I really wanted, that there were always kids out there who had alot more to worry about than toys. Suddenly my "problems" always seemed a little more insignificant.
But when I see stories like this, ones that involve a parent neglecting their child, it really does have a profound impact on me as a parent. Even as a "long distance dad" I try to affect my kid's lives as much as possible. I just have a very hard time understanding how anyone could bring a child into this world and treat it so poorly.
What Sarge said.
is it really that hard to put a kid up for adoption? or drop it off at a home?
i would think it'd be a bit easier then stuffing your baby into a plastic bag and watching it suffocate, then finding a good place to dump off your dead suffocated baby.
they should really give psych tests to all new mothers at the hospital to determine if your eligible to keep your kid or not.
Mexican idiot. Give the baby to a hospital. They take it, no questions asked. Fry her ass.

She was Brazilian, Spermy.
That was my first thought when I had my kid. "I just don't have enough money to raise this kid the right way," I said to myself. "Who has the means to do a better job then me? There has to be someone...THAT'S IT-- Homeless People. They're saving a ton of money on rent every month. They'd totally be good parents."
from experience, it becomes harder to listen too when you have kids. the thing for me that makes if difficult is that kids are vulernable, they are relying on the people harming them for help.
that's why i don't care about what happens to grown-ups, they can fend for themselves and more often than not, they deserve what they got. but kids, they need help, they need people to care for them and when the people who are responsible for providing that care don't, it's an awful thing.

Do Brazilian babies have less hair?

Yes, there is a buildup of left over wax around the mom's vadge which covers the baby's entire body during birth. When the baby is toweled off by a doctor, all hair is completely removed. Even their eyebrows.
I'm suddenly aroused.
Eyebrowless babies are all the rave these days.

Good, I shouldn't have to see negative reactions to racism and sexism on this board.
And people wonder why I'm pro-choice.....
I do know that any Illinios firehouse/hospital/police station will take a baby up to (if memory serves) 2 days after birth with no questions asked. Jesus, you wouldn't treat your dog like this.
I would treat my dog like this, but I rule, so it's hard to judge me against others.
The little thing propbably would stop farging crying. Jesus Christ, shut up already!!
That's how my mom taught me how to swim.
i thoght this was bumped because they found another baby in a bag. now i'm sad.
