how about......
1- Nick Saban
2- Marvin Lewis
3- John Fox
4- Tony Dungy
5- Gary Kubiak

No such thing as a guarantee.
I saw that and it made me sick. How can someone guarantee a guy who has NEVER coached an NFL game in his life going to a team who has never had a winning season a Super Bowl? Peter King must have had some input.
Dungy eh? I find that odd considering his teams have sucked in the playoffs.

i guess there is no way to really refute this until all the guys are dead
dungy cause hes has a great qb
fox is a very good coach period
saban looks real promising but i dont know how you guarantee him one...it one of those go out on a oimb and if youre right youre igy and if youre wrong no one remembers
kubiak wtf?
marvin lewis = money...but it also doesnt hurt that he has a great foundation on the field
I think Fox absolutely will win one. But that's it.
Too early to know on Saban or, obviously, Kubiak.
Marvin Lewis has the ownership and history working against him, but I think he's the 2nd best coach in the list.
Dungy lacks the killer instinct even moreso than Reid.
1. Hes a total icehole, eventually his players are gonna want to strangle him.
2. Bonafied cheerleader.
3. Could happen, but he needs someone better than Delhomo.
4. Hahaha. He's a loser. He'll never win. Especially when your even bigger of a vagina QB makes decisions over you.
5. Yea, he hasn't coached a game. So who the hell knows.
:)
I'm with Zanshin.
I hate these SI gimmicks. Five pics, 25 words of utter crap each.
I find it odd that they didn't list a coach who, as a head coach, has JUST AS MANY championship game appearances in a short time, as all of them put together.
1. He had a winning record in his first year, but until he gets a QB, I don't think he's going anywhere. Plus, his DL is aging, his DBs are aging, his LBs are aging.
2. How many players are going to want to play for him if he doesn't straighten Chad Johnson out?
3. He's had 2 winning record and 2 losing records. Everyone wants to point to Carolina's injuries in 2004, but they still had Delhomme and they still had a large majority of their defense intact. The difference between them finishing 7-9 and the Eagles finishing 6-10 was the fact that their 6 game winning streak came against teams that weren't playing well and that had either losing or .500 records at the time.
4. He's had the most prolific offense in his 4 seasons in Indy: 0, 14, 3, and 18 points and 2 consecutive 2nd round dismissals.
5. How can you anoint a guy who's never been a HC an instant SB winner?
It's a worthless list outside of Fox and maybe Lewis, but Kubiak on that list is just mindblowing.
What makes him any closer to a SB win than any other 1st time HC this year? That could have just as easily been Childress, Linehan, Payton, etc.
Then they point to his being on a SB winning team, so If that's the case... look out for the next dynasty that is Marinelli and the Lions... followed by years of domination by the Jets in the Mangini Era.
