This could save your life one day, assuming you speak German.

That handshake between red guy and blue guy was unusually long with far too much eye contact.  Still, all those guys are more likeable than Russel Crowe so I give it a 3/4..

The forklift was one of the best perks of working at Sears.  I think we broke half the rules in that video....  :paranoid

I worked at a plant in NJ one time that had the worst collection of forklift operators known to man, at least that I could imagine along with the most apathetic management ever.

I worked all three shifts doing quality control at one time or another. During my time there I witnessed or saw the results of the following:

Two guys raising and lowering the forks and driving back and forth towards each other in a "dueling" manner.
Drag racing, including burning rubber on the machines that didn't have pneumatic tires.
One guy backing into the wall next to a dock door.
Another putting the forks through a wall.
Another knock down an air line while moving equipment, also losing control of  dropping the machine he was carrying.
A guard rail around the central compression unit that was bolted to a concrete floor with 1.5 inch bolts knocked out of the floor.
A vertical chute that delivered recycled materials from a granulating machine knocked down.
1,200 pound boxes that were to be stacked no further than three high stacked four high.
Countless boxes of this material punctured by forks, wasting and contaminating the material.
One guy who thought he could drive a solid wheeled forklift in mud.
Drivers with visually obstructing loads driving forward and ramming a structural column.
Drivers with visually obstructing loads driving headfirst into each other.
Drivers smoking while operating a propane driven lift.
Drivers smoking while they changed the propane tank.
Drivers overloading the forklift, tipping it forward and dropping their load.

None of this resulted in termination of a driver. The one that knocked the chute down, the one that put the hole in the wall  and the one that dislodged the air line and dropped the machine lost their forklift licenses. The one that knocked the chute down was eventually fired for spitting in the face of, then attempting to strike the company president.

The company president and vice president were at the plant for most of these instances. They didn't care as long as production wasn't interrupted. I reported a couple of things myself, but without corroboration from another employee, they just waved whatever happened off, because no one else would give up another guy.
