What does a 3-team parlay typically pay?
(post removed due to extreme lameness)
normally around 6-1

Easy question. Ask your ladyfriend if she's interested in a 3-"team" partay.
Oh, parlay? I have no idea. Sorry.
Dude, that was weak. I mean, really, even on a scale of typical-message-board-humor to actually-funny, that was really bad.
Edit: Thanks IGY.

Your anger towards so many playoff teams will skew your ability to win this week. Stay away from the gambling.
Yeah, IGY is about right. And so is Matt. I haven't bet since I lost that goddamn Penn State bet. I put myself on a month restriction. Which'll actually be longer because I won't bet again until baseball season cranks up.
Example:
laying $20 on a 3 teamer of...
Seattle
Indy
New England
Would net you $117
It's true. I hate 3 of the 8 teams playing. And the only game that doesn't contain a team I actually dispise is the one I would stay away from (Car-Chi).
Stop knowing stuff about me.
I wouldn't touch that game either. Way, way too close to call.
The Pats are a tempting pick but I try to stay away from 3 point lines.
If I was betting this week I'd do a 6-point teaser on the 4 games.
taterskins +9.5
tomorrow @ 2 - clemson +10.5 vs. duke
tonight - manhatten -14.5 vs rider
youre welcome

Same here, I lost a big one on the PSU game and told myself I can't gamble on any of the playoff games. I had a horrible year this year in NFL games anyway, basically didn't bet from Weeks 10 on.

was just about to say the same thing, if i do break down and throw on this weekend i'll definitely be teasing them. obviously knocks down the payout but it looks worth it for these games.
btw a great team to bet on this year...until vegas stops sleeping...is loyola md...they have two transfers from umd that are off the charts...and they always cover...especially against like competition...ive won 400 bucks on them this year

A FSU fan telling me to take FSU and I'm the homer? :D
I didn't bet on my team (Texas) and they won. So there.

Hopefully I'll be there for at least 4 of 'em. :yay
It actually should be a bit easier to go to games this year. The same demand for tickets thats been there for the past few years wont be there until the team wins a few games (as expected if mcnabb is playing). of course, some major free agent signings could change that.
I did the 4-game, 6 point teaser this weekend. I did great during the NFL regular season, but so far I'm oh-fer in the post-season. Hope this turns around my luck:
Seattle - 3 1/2
NE/DEN Over 38 (Couldn't pick a winner in this one)
Indy - 3 1/2
Carolina +8 1/2
definitely shoulda went skins plus 15.5
