...numerous ligament tears, a shredded ligament, damaged cartilage and a dislocated kneecap, his surgeon said Thursday. (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2290239)
Guess we're not getting Kitna.
Thats too bad. He had a great future ahead of him.
I'd be really pissed if I had him in a keeper.
Comeback player of the year.
They just had a piece on ESPN, The Doctor said his comments were out of context. He was refering to that injury in general and that in Palmer's case everything seems fine.
hell be behind center for the opener....this is just the media specifically espn blowing things out of proportion

the espn ticker this morning said he'd be ready to start by the beginning of the 2006 season.
apparently career threatening doesnt mean what it used to mean.
career = thursday
Either way....betcha he's happy he got his bank a month ago. :deion :deion
i don't know that ESPN blew it out of proportion. they just repeated what the doctor said. the doctor said the surgery was a success but when asked about the injury, he said it was a bad one, one that has ended careers before.
:-D- Quaker Moats pic.
don't know that ESPN blew it out of proportion.
they did in that they teased it as career threatening...to get themselves a big headline
never ever at any point was it career threatening...but that was the teaser they used on sportscenter...then in the actual report they said he should be back in september
Actually, I thought PFT had the right read on this: Paulos loves the pub, and if he "saves" Palmer's career, he's a hero. If it does end his career, there's nothing he could've done anyway. Win-win for Paulos.
While i wish Carson the best during his rehab, i want nothing to do with Kitna.
