This is how I see this weekend's results:
Washington at Seattle
New England at Denver
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis
Carolina at Chicago
Seattle will destroy the Point & Laugh's. They would have been toast last weekend if Tampa had a quarterback that wasn't a Hoyda. Seattle by at least 14.
New England squeeks out a win at Denver in the upset of the weekend. It could come down to a last second field goal here but I'll say New England by 6.
Indianapolis routs the Stillers. I'll say Indy by 21.
Carolina wins comfortably against Chicago. I'll go with 10 here even though the over/under on this game is an amazingy low 31 points right now.

All home teams win, except Denver.
I don't trust Seattle to do anything right. The "we're gonna win!" Bowl still makes me cringe. I expect them to win, but I don't plan on enjoying it until it's over.

After what Carolina did to the Giants last week? You really think so??
Okay.
Okay.
Seattle, Denver, Pittsburgh, Carolina.
Definitely some wishful thinking involved in those picks, but there you have it.
Hawks, Bears, Pats, Colts
All straight up, not against the line.
Seahawks
Patriots
Colts
Panthers
While it's really hard to go against the Pats, I can't see them winning in freezing temperatures depleted of oxygen by the altitude. New England, better team. Denver, more red blood cells. They win.
I also think Chicago's offense is too woeful to win this game. Carolina wins, combined score <17.
Indy and Seattle roll.
Seattle
Chicago
New England
Indy
Seahawks
Panthers
Colts
Pats
Holla.
Washington at Seattle
New England at Denver
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis
Carolina at Chicago
my picks
Stop picking New England. Denver is a better team, playing at home. Yes New England has the playoff magic or whatever and Denver is soft as Budweiser poo, but come on. The run is coming to an end.
So then you agree that the Pats are gonna win?
No. I refuse to believe that they will win. I refuse to believe that they can continue to win in the postseason like this. The need to lose eventually, right? RIGHT?! These farging Boston fans are going to drive me off my nut if the Pats keep winning.

I actually agree with you on that. Denver
should win the game. All logic outside of that whole "Pats Playoff Mystique" thing points to the Broncos. But I'll be damned if they don't keep proving everybody wrong. Until they finally do lose, (next week in Indy if they both win this weekend)... tough to pick against 'em.
If NE gets past Denver, they win another SB. Book it.

Yes, winning in the cold has definitely been the achilles heel of this team.
Pats
Seahawks
Bears
Colts

As if they care about football.
If given the choice between watching a repeat of the finale of the 2004 World Series and Patriots live in the Super Bowl, more Boston queers would choose the former.
I've never seen less deserving football "fans" in my life.
:puke
Seattle--Seahawks will be too much for a gimpy Mark Brunell and a sore-shouldered Clinton Portis 27-7
Broncos--the Pats magic runs out in Denver; it'll be close, but the Broncos take a 24-20 win
Steelers--I think the Colts are the sort of team that needs to play EVERY WEEK so as to not disrupt Manning's rythmn; plus, I've been reading where he's getting a bit testy in interviews because the media are asking him about his lack of playoff success, thus, he'll press and try to do too much--Steelers-23-17
Bears--Grossman gives them a dimension that Orton did not--a veteran presence in the pocket; plus, I think that Carolina has been too inconsistent--Bears--17-6

That's why they drive me nuts. They don't even give a shtein. They just operate under the assumption that it's just football and of course they'll win. farging hate that.

This drives me nuts when people say this. Since when is Grossman a veteran? Orton has more career starts than Grossman does.
Exactly, Matt. The Bears won't score much if at all even with Grossman in there.
If Carolina somehow manages to score 17 points, they win easily.
That's just how I see it. Of course, I suck at the prediction thing, so...
Skins
Bears
Colts
Horses
Colts and Horses, you say?

i believe he means the broncos. just a guess.
using non football logic
indians can kill birds pretty easily, but these birds are fake mythical birds. birds win.
a person with a musket vs a horse? musket wins.
a grizzled steel worker vs a horse? the steel worker cant lift an I Beam, horse kicks. horse wins.
a bear vs a panther. the bears get distracted by m&ms, and people camping, pather just prowls around for meat. panther is also faster, panther wins.

I'm pretty sure the seahawk is a very real bird also known as the osprey, not a kickass mythical bird.
1-2 thus far.
Genious, I say! GENIOUS!

I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE COLTS.
It took them three quarters to get started. Plus, Manning
has never won a big game in his life. He never beat Florida in college when they had to, and thus far, in 8 years, he's been as far as 1--COUNT'EM ONE--AFCCG.
So, far, I'm 3 for 3.

Even though I picked them in the suicide league, I was hoping for Chicago to come back just to shut those jerks up.
