No way, man. The AP is just holding out so they can give him the Bestest Coach of the Millennium award. Gibbs is a super genius, everyone knows that. Lombardi wasn't fit to shine his shoes. Except when Lombardi coached the Skins. Then he was God too.

I am sorta glad Dungy didn't get it.  There are a lot of coaches in this league that can win with P. Manning, James, Harrison, Wayne, and D. Clark on the offensive side of the ball.  It would be like giving any Yankee manager ever the Manager of the Year award.

Dungy could have won it just as well, but he wasn't exactly robbed:  Smith has done a fine job and deserves accolades.
