QuoteThe Associated Press reports alcohol sales will be banned at the Week 16 game between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots at Giants Stadium. The ban was put in place to protect fans. "It's for the safety of our fans, so that they can have a comfortable environment at a time when the holiday season can get very festive," said Jets spokesman Ron Colangelo. The ban comes after the Nov. 27 Jets home game against the New Orleans Saints in which police made nine arrests. Two fans were stabbed outside a men's room, while in another incident, a state trooper broke his leg while trying to eject a fan who reportedly threw a beer bottle
Are they going to police tailgaters too?
Beer = stab.
Duh.
Eagles fans are the worst.
the holiday season can get very festive
lolol
Are they going to police tailgaters too
exactly...all this means is drink triple time in the parking lot...then smuggle in dust and mini's of bourbon
If you're a Jets season ticket holder, there's absolutely no reason to leave the parking lot for this one...unless you're looking to stab a Pats fan.
What a load. I'm pretty sure it's not "comfortable" to be a Jets fan unless you are blind stinking drunk.

they should really set up a camera of people entering the stadium. im sure it would be quite humorous.
