Jim Johnson's worn out his usefulness in the NFL. He's too old to rejuvinate his schemes and players, and his in-game calling and defensive schemes have resulted in big plays galore and a general lack of success getting to the QB.
I love what Johnson used to do for the Eagles, but this team now needs a D-coordinator that will bring more discipline and fundamentals back to the field. I don't know who's out there, but I know Johnson should go... and take elderly DL coach Brasher along with him.

You know even I have to say...unless Gardner is cerifiably retarded, I don't understand why he isn't AT LEAST a servicable WR. Then again, I watch the Eagles games, and I'm starting to think McMullin may actually be able to contribute meaningfully next year...so my WR thoughts may be as suspect as Andy's.

I don't agree that JJ is washed up. One down year hasn't soured me on him. Plus he signed an extension so regardless of what anyones opinion of him is he's here for 4 more years.

I don't think he's as much washed up as his usefulness to
this team is very low.
This defense could REALLY REALLY use a scheme change, probably something like a Cover 2 base.
Yeah, the whole 'attack the QB' scheme isn't going to work with a bunch of slow ass linebackers and nickel and dime defensive linemen. He needs new personel or a new defense entirely to coach.
yes they need some linebackers but its not as if they used to have great ones...what they miss most is a edge pass rush...they really miss what hugh used to give them in his prime
i notice to that jj doesnt bring corner blitzes as much as he used to with vincent and taylor...not exactly sure why...
