Pat Graham, of The Daily Times-Call, reports Baltimore Ravens RB Jamal Lewis and head coach Brian Billick are no longer on speaking terms. To talk to each other, they go through an intermediary in running backs coach Matt Simon. On the surface, the feud has to do with Lewis' workload this season, but there's more to it than just that. Lewis thinks the Ravens lied to him. He feels the team promised to negotiate a new deal for him and has failed to do so. Lewis has been constantly lobbying for more carries, but it's easy to see why Billick has ignored the requests. Lewis is averaging a career-low 3.1 yards per carry and just 15.3 carries per game. Billick reasoned that Lewis' legal troubles set him back this season, and that's why he's having a down year.
Well, time for Ray Lewis to do his thing just like he would have done with TO. :)

I've been wondering where Jam31 was all season. He seemed to go into hiding when Baltimore showed how much they suck and have ZERO future.

That, and he seemed to only show his face when TO was acting like a jackass. But you know what? At least TO gave it his all while acting like a Jackass. I get the feeling Lewis is half-assing it to protest his not getting a new deal. Of course, people like Jam31 will counter with some lame excuse like he's been playing through an injury all season.

I really think that being in jail all offseason, with little pro workout gear and only prison food tanked his season.
