Lamar Gordon is OUT tonight...
Eagles inactives:
Lamar Gordon
Dedrick Roper
Donald Strickland
Scott Young
Carl Ford
Calvin Armstrong
Terrell Owens
Keyonta Marshall
Matt McCoy and Ryan Moats will see time tonight.
40 minutes to kickoff....
What happened to Gordon?
shoulder or knee...I forget
Eagles wearing black/white again....no black/green combo this year :yay
He had a concussion last week and didn't practice until Friday.
I am disappointed that Josh Parry is not inactive tonight. I was hoping for a Spach/Gordon duo at FB.
Thank god that they're not doing the black/green combo. I hate that one.

A wet snow game without our power back. The seahawks are farged now!
And here I thought you'd be happy because your boy Reno will be likely to get a carry or two.
He's gonna shock the world. Mostly because the rest of the world doesn't know how bad you can be and still keep a roster spot.
I just hope he doesn't shock the world by muffing a punt in that slop deep in Seattle's territory.
Don't worry, he'll muff two. One inside the ten. :yay
Gametime.
Let's go, Birds!
Look at all that snow coming down. There'll be none of that in NC. I'm jealous.
Field looks like shtein already.
Somebody on the defense tackled a TE!
Shouldn't Stevens be out drinking or something?
Trent Cole with a nice tackle behind the line. :yay
Great defensive stand so far.
Damn, I don't think any Eagles were in the same zip code as Engram.
Great job from Trotter down there inside the ten and in the endzone.
That call on the pick was a farging disgrace.
Our D-Line is getting a beatdown. :boo
Don't worry folks. There's no way the Hags will be able to stop the Mike McMahon offensive juggernaut.
Awesome, Westbrook is hurt and Gordon is out.
Eagles MVP so far: defensive offsides.
Why did Moats try to launch himself into the offensive line on that first carry?
Give McMahon a huge contract now.

that route by lewis was positively pinkston-esque. he looked like a high school kid out there on that play.

Hey...watch your mouth about Team G-Lew!
The Eagles realize they're playing for Reggie White and not Jaleel White, correct?

No. None of them ever played with Reggie White so this game is meaningless to them in that regard.
Although, given the way they've started the game I'd say it's meaningless to them in any regard.

Landeta played with him. Landeta also played with Moses, I believe.
Moses never made it to a team. He got lost.
Lookit Reno throw that coat down. He's pumped to go screw up another punt return!
Good to see the best LB play so far has been Simoneau. :-D
How bout throwing McCoy in there? It's not like they'll stink up the joint any worse than they are now.
Oh for crying out loud.
Put Koy the farg in now.
Bums. Each and every one of them.
oh, and it's bad enough that Greg Lewis telegraphed his route to Dyson on the pick. Now he's playing soft and looking for flags.
speaking of telegraphing... nice work McMahon. Way to make the White family proud.
Best thing about that pick 6 is the fact that it was made possible by the non-call on the blatant PI the play before.

Farging McMahon is screwing my fantasy team. He keeps throwing picks for TD's and Alexander and Hasselbeck won't get squat for me to win. I'm only down 8.

we could use some of that in dark eagles green/almost black due to the wet conditions jerseys.

Yeah, you're right. And after being so close the last four years, and now knowing the season is over, I'm sure it's tough to get emotionally prepared to play. But you'd still like to see them have some pride and show some effort. And you'd like the young guys to step up and show that they deserve more time next year.

I think i threw up in my mouth a little while watching the end of the 4th quarter. This is THE MOST EMBARRASING loss i've ever seen as an Eagles fan. It was disgusting.
They screwed us on the half time deal...with stupid Tim McGraw. Boo!

I want top 10, and after tonight I think we can do it. :yay
When I walked into the stadium tonight, it looked almost perfect. Swirling snow glowing from the lights and the fans were psyched. That's as good as it got.
The Lurie's actually looked shocked when they got BOOed during the halftime presentation.
Shameful football performance in front of those Eagle greats I grew up loving. It was really disgraceful.
wow. that sucked. on the bright side, we yelled things at cheerleaders in the 4th qtr and had some laughs. the halftime thing was cool. a game in the snow was nice. but otherwise, my god. definatley the worst sporting event ive been to since game 5 of the 2001 nba finals.
It's all your fault!
A Temple student goes to his first home game at The Linc and a Temple Owls football game breaks out!
Shame on you, sir.
Giants = Loss
St. Louis = Iffy...cuz they suck just as bad
Arizona = Loss
Washington = Point and Laugh...Win
OK... I'm drunk as hit and the Eagles are teh bestest. It was to the point where Moloko and I were taking shots for the first downs the Eagles made. :yay
I grabbed some girl's ass and she didn' even slap me. :yay
There are simply no words.
No words for tonight. >:(
15 people are IR. Poor play calling...ok. I'll stop there. Enough is enough.

no but i was like four seats from him. i might have briefly been on. thats where i was shouting things at cheerleaders. this one on the left was really hot and she was laughing at what i was saying. if it wasnt so cold outside, i might have gotten excited from that. how sad.
:-D
You should've asked her to come back to your dorm with you.

I haven't decorated the room in the least bit. No Don, but if there was a Don poster, I would surley buy it.
I don't even know which cheerleader she was. She had blonde hair. Theres like 8 of em with blonde hair. Its over. So sad. Our half hour love affair ends.

I'm not
that nerdy. Jeez. What do you play me for?
Well, here's some things that could improve it a few spots:
-- Detroit wins 2 games (I have them losing all 4 of their remaining ones)
-- Buffalo wins 2 games (I have them winning 1 of 4)
-- Cleveland wins 2 games (I have them winning 1 of 4)
I project it to end up as the following:
1 Houston
2 N.Y. Jets
3 San Francisco
4/5 Detroit/New Orleans (coin flip)
6 Tennessee
7 Green Bay
8 Buffalo
9 Cleveland
10 Philly

i really hope they draft ANYONE at RB next year so Reno can't make the team. Also, since the playoffs are not happening i'd like to NOT see Keith Adams on the field anymore. Is Tyreo Harrison available?
I think Reno was the only player on offense who showed up to play tonight.

It's official - the love fest is over, done, kaput, fin, adios, sayonara & aloha.
From Moats' EMB blog, 1:56AM:
QuoteWe're Going To Get It Right
Personally on Monday night, there were some ups and there were some downs.
The fumble was a big one that I'm still thinking about. I'm trying to let it go, but it's hard to explain. >:( It's something that I can't do. If I want to play at this level, I can't be known as a fumbler. That's something I really, really have to concentrate on and get right.
We were confident coming in. I just think we took a wrong turn somewhere. We have to rally back and correct what's wrong.
We didn't look at the early deficit as being down. On the guys' faces, I saw a lot of fight. Even to the bitter end, the look on the guys' faces said, 'Let's fight.'
In the locker room after the game, we just said 'Let's correct this. Let's get it right.' This is not normal for the Eagles. We have to get it right. We weren't down. We just said we have to get it right.
Physically, I'm fine. I had 10 carries, but getting hit is part of the game. It's part of football. Even when I was just playing on special teams, I was getting hit. I get up and go back and do my job.
I know that the fans are disappointed. But in the guys' eyes, all I saw was 'Let's get back up.' 'Let's get back up.' All the way until the end, I can honestly say that. We're going to make it right.
what were the ups? i didnt see any.
thats an up for him. not for me. i lost my chance at one true love with that cheerleader. it was all downs.

I'd want to meet Reno. I'd have to know how he's done it all these years.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. I'm pretty sure he'd say, "Well, that's a story that begins almost 200 years ago with a special man named Joseph Smith... please have a seat, and I'll tell you all about it."
I don't have time to hear a two hundred year story.
