King of Queens is proof that fat, sloppy, but mildly funny guys like me can score some hot chicks.

Now, as long as my wife doesn't ever find out...     :paranoid

Nice choice, PG   :yay

She is VERY hot and a HUGE bitch and I think she's a scientologist. In other words, I wouldn't want to spend any sober clothed time with her. She would qualify for a good old fashioned hatefarg, though.

That other CBS show, called Still Standing (I think) also perpetuates that "proof."

Leah used to be a lot hotter, but I'm not so sure lately. Good change-of-pace choice, though.

She's a bitch?  I've heard her on Bob & Tom a few times, and she comes across as a pretty funny chick.  Haven't seen the bitch side of her, but since she's female, I can definitely see it happening.

I've heard her on Howard a number of times and she doesn't really have much of a sense of humor about herself and every single non-missionary sex question Howard asked she responded to by saying, "We did all of that stuff when we first started dating but now that we're not trying to impress each other it's just plain old lay on your back sex." Um, excuse me. Way to turn off the entire male population with one sentence. Date for a long time and stop having interesting sex! Yay!

*Edit: none of that makes her a bitch (other than not having a sense of humor about herself), it just makes her far less interesting in a 'I wonder what it's like to bone her in her naughty places' kind of way.

It's relatively easy for fat, sloppy guys to score hot chicks when the producers and writers make it that way.  How else do you explain Drew Carey scoring hottie after hottie after hottie?  I mean seriously, I've shagged my fair share of hotties but everyone gets into a slump from time to time and I need to go ala Mark Grace and do a fattie for a slump buster.  Works every time too.

I think she's hotter now that she's gotten fat.

She was just an annoying bitch before.  Now she's a fat annoying bitch.  Kinda completes the package, IMO.

Her character on "King of Queens" reminds me of my wife.  They also don't look wholly different, like they could be cousins or something.  A lot of people tell FFette this, and she's not very happy about it.  Mostly because she doesn't think she's that big of a bitch.  But she can be, which is actually pretty hot.

In conclusion, this is a good "retro" choice... although my wife looks a lot better today than Leah Remini does... and thankfully, my wife isn't some psycho Scientologist.  But Leah Remini is still hot.  Just not as hot.  I'd hit it.

Right, because all women who gain weight from pregnancy need surgery to lose it.

The reason she LOOKED heavier was because she worked it off naturally.

This is going to be taken the wrong way by someone on here but I kind of think pregnant women are sexy. It's a sickness, I'm seeking help.

Leah Remini I think LOOKS sexy but is actually a cold fish. Which is an awful combination. False advertising, bitch.

Pregnant chicks are incredibly hot for 2 reasons:

1.  You know they put out.
2.  You don't have to worry about knocking them up.

I don't think they're hot. I think they're fat and bloated and gassy and cranky and usually barfing or eating something gross. But I find their pregnant stomaches and enlarged dumpers and sweater-cows sexy.

Good calls by rjs and Rome. I loved her 5 years ago. I like women who are thin, fun, Sicilian, and bitchy. She's long since lost multiple parts of that equation though.

Maybe a fat loudmouth boring bitch is acceptable after you've pounded 8 or so fun-as-hell years out of her, but when it's a fantasy female celeb instead of a wife she can just be dumped without fanfare or alimony.

AD - Nope.  And it's barely still on.
Office - Mildly amusing cringe humor, but definitely not even close to more funny than FG
Scrubs - Easily one of my favorite shows, but it's not on right now.  At best a push with FG anyhow.
CyE - Absolutely not.  It's like you're just reading critics' opinions to try to sound learned.
South Park - It has its moments, but it's not laugh-out-loud funny nearly as often.

Nice try.  Not even close, though.

You're too young to properly understand the humor in most of the shows you listed anyway.

yea, i guess you have to be in your mid 20's before you can laugh at things that arent shamless rip-offs of the simpsons

You pretty much ended your chance of winning this argument with that obviously incorrect statement.

are you not in your mid 20's? because family guy is just a less funnier version of the simpsons (well, not now. but up until about season 10, yea). its the same stupid show, just with more immature humor.

Totally not the same show.  Both are good...but they have a different angle.  Family guy and American dad...now that's pretty much the same show.

fat dad with menial job, hot housewife mom, 2 kids and a baby. lots of side characters. same basic concept. the only original thing they had was stewie, and they got off the whole story of him trying to kill lois and such, and now hes just a smart baby. and plus, half the show is gags. they used to be funny when they did them like 4 times a episodes, now its 50. the show isnt nearly as good as it once was, and doesnt compare remotley to the golden years of the simpsons.

The fact that that is your summary of those two shows is proof positive that the humor in both is WAY beyond you. You're looking at it like an 8 year old who just sees a cartoon with a dad who burps and the occasional fart joke. You're clearly missing the important, intelligent humor that is there and are therefore disqualified. Eat shtein.

And die.  Family Guy is better than The Simpsons ever was.

P.S.  After watching Monday night's "King of Queens", I have determined that Leah Remini is still fargable.

i agree, but you can't really blame the Simpsons, they kicked ass for many years, the creative well is dry though.

Family Guy was staggering for awhile when it first came back, but they are in the groove now and ruling hard.

uh no. what kind of important humor is on family guy? making of disney? great, they deserve it. but theyve done it before. its the same joke over and over again? if you ever watched arrested development or the office, then maybe you will see intelligent humor that you can watch 50 times and catch something new everytime.

family guy is still funny, im not doubting that. its just not as good as it was, not as good as the simpsons were, and not as good as a few other shows. thats it. its better than half the stuff on tv.

not even close. nothing compares to arrested. if it would have lasted longer, it would have rivaled seinfeld as the greatest comedy of all time.

The fact that you think "The Office" is funnier than "Family Guy" is really, really pathetic... especially since you're 18-19 years old and have never had to work a real-life, supporting-yourself job.

Speaking of T&A, I'd bang Jenna Fischer (http://images.zap2it.com/20050726/nbctca05/047_jennafischer_nbctca05.jpg), even though she's really not that hot at all.

i dont see what not being older has to do with full appreciation for the offices humor. i have worked a non camp counsler job before, even though its not quite the same as fully having to support yourself. still, the office is consistantley more funny and enjoyable than family guy.

which is weird, because both TV shows are funny, while Dilbert is probably as funny as brain cancer.

Dilbert never did, and still doesn't, suck.  The TV show was unfunny as I expected it would be, but the comic strip is still topical and quite amusing to this day, especially for someone like me who's experienced many similar situations in my actual life.  Kids and construction workers wouldn't understand.

This brings me to my next point... that "Family Guy" kicks ass.

P.S.  On topic... Leah Remini... I'd mouth-bang her, and she'd like it.

i used to be, but have worked in an office for several years.  another guy that works here has a page-a-day Dilbert calender.  i don't think I've laughed.  but I understand what your saying, you have to have worked in an office to giggle over a dog talking about a fax.  wow, comedy gold.

Of course she's still fargable.  Only now, she's even more watchable on that show  because she looks like someone who might actually marry Kevin James instead of laugh in his face if he approached her.

I argue with the ladyfriend over this one all the time. I think she could catch a bone or three, she thinks she's completely plain. There's something to be said for fantasizing about the ambiguously attractive female in the office when it is the only thing to distract you from the drudgery of your job.

Exactly.  And that's why she's perfect for that role in "The Office".  There's really no eye candy on that show (although Michael's boss definitely needs her cheerio ravaged), but "Pam" is there, so she'll have to do.
