It makes sense that Lito would bite on the pump with 8 guys going after the QB.  It's ludicrous that Bledsoe would have that much time with that many people coming.  That said, Lito's sucking this year, as has been mentioned.

i would kick that motherfarger in the face so hard if i had the chance...bring butchy and whoever else...ive been sick and tired of of his shtein since 2000...i said it then and ill say it now...the team wins in spite of him not because of...he needs to go and they need to bring a coach in that can light a fire in mcnabb make him a leader make him accountable give him a heart transplant...something...and if any or all of that isnt possible then five needs to go as well

either way the reid mcnabb combo has to be blown up

its sickening beyond belief and yesterday was the last straw

A healthy McNabb is one of the best QB's in the league.  Reid called a very good game yesterday overall.

If you got your wish, this team would be worse for it, not better... whether you like it or not.

he said right now he wouldn't bet on McNabb playing sunday, but he hasn't heard any information regarding his injury yet.  If he doesn't play, Mike will get the start.

Mike Lewis (concussion), unsure if he'll be able to play since it's too early to know.

well if making one of the worst calls in the history of the nfl is a good game then your standards are different than mine

If you got your wish, this team would be worse for it, not better... whether you like it or not.

So Mike McMahon starts, I hope.

Quintin Mikell possibly at SS.

Not having Mike Lewis in there isn't necessarily at bad thing considering how terrible his pass coverage has been this year.

How cool would it be if Reid offered his own resignation and decided to turn himself into the Head Coaching Police for Crimes Against Coaching.  He probably wouldn't do it cuz he'd be found guilty of making the biggest coaching blunders in the history of modern sports.  This guy makes Steve Spurrier look like Vince Lombardi.

IGY:  McNabb is one of the best when healthy, whether you like it or not.  Name 5 better QB's in the league.

I'll give you Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Tom Brady, and Ben Roethlisberger, even if some of those choices are questionable.  I'm fully prepared to laugh my ass off if you want to add anyone else to that list.

Reid's call on 2nd & 7 was questionable, sure... but a mistake that huge is out-of-character for any pro QB, especially the only one to ever throw 30+ TD's and less than 10 picks in a season.  He should have thrown it over Reggie's shoulder and been an incomplete pass at worst.  Saying Reid should be fired after last night's game is pure reactionism with absolutely no use of common sense or intelligence.  I expect it from a piece of trash like you, actually.

So... who would this team have won a Super Bowl with in the last 5 years?  Let's see... when they hired Reid, the top choice at that point was Jim Haslett.  When they drafted McNabb, they could have also had Akili Smith, Cade McNown, or even Daunte Culpepper.  I'm guessing you think they would have won a Super Bowl if they'd drafted Ricky Williams.  That would have been totally smart with a very capable RB in Duce Staley already on the team, and absolutely no QB whatsoever.

You're in a dream world where you believe that if something goes wrong, there is a quick solution and explanation for everything.  Sorry, bro, but this is not that world you think you live in.  Stop hitting the farging crackpipe, and try to use some logic and reason once in a while.  You might grow up in the process.

The good news is that, unless you win the lottery, you have absolutely no chance of getting the money or connections to run a sports franchise into the ground, which is exactly what a dumbass like you would do.

fine hes 'one of the best'...but he isnt good enough and thats all that matters...id rather have a trent dilfer situation and win a superbowl than be content with 'one of the best' and win squat

If the Ravens QB in 2000 is a healthy 2003-2004 McNabb, they don't have to win the Super Bowl as a wild card.  They go about 14-2 and run the table with ease.  Dilfer was the weak link on a team that had everything but a passing game.

id give a limb for my weak link to win a ring

dilfer went to one conference championship and won a superbowl...mcnabb went to five conference championships and won ZERO...spin away as you please but the record speaks for itself...

You are seriously contending that Trent Dilfer is a better QB than Donovan McNabb?

Guys like Dilfer and Brad Johnson won Super Bowls with ridiculous defenses leading the way.  The Eagles?

In 2001, the Eagles lost the NFC title game against an offensive juggernaut, because the defense was banged up, especially in the secondary.

In 2002, they lost it because the Bucs were peaking on both offense and defense and were playing ridiculous football.  They also didn't have the personnel on D, plugging holes with guys like Blaine Bishop and Levon Kirkland.

In 2003, the D played well enough to beat a hot Panthers team, but McNabb was injured in the middle of the 2nd quarter and could not finish the game.

In 2004, they won the NFC championship with relative ease and proved to be only slightly outmatched in the Super Bowl.

The bottom line is that if McNabb is healthy and the defense is healthy and not sucking ass, this team is a contender.  As I'm sure MDS would agree... McNabb + Defense = Super Bowl

I don't think that's so cut and dry.

Dilfer was a perfect game manager...the key to winning a championship is to play well in all the games, not great one game then bad the next.  Consistency is more important than brillance.

Would McNabb have hit Sharpe perfectly on the numbers for a 90-yard TD vs. the Raiders?  Would he have lofted the ball over Sehorn's head right into Stokley's hands in the SB?  These are the routine plays McNabb has always had trouble executing consistently.
