Jackson gets that first no-snap in early.
penalties are fun

LJ with the circus catch.

Back to back running plays! Shoot up!
Evening all. How come you're not at the game GF?
And when the hell did Chad come back? Damn working all the time... stupid job and stupid bills. I'm missing everything this year.

McNabb got up from that first scramble going "whweewwhh." Looked like he was hurting a bit.
What a one-handed catch by LJ!
I'm having wet dreams of Gordon and Westbrook as effective 1-2 backs. I know I shouldn't hope so much for Gordon, but I liked his run for the first down.
McCants threw a nice block downfield on Westbrook's TD run.
Look at that, Andy! You call 7 runs in a drive, you get a farging score!!

The fact that the runs all got positive yardage probably helped.
The two points aren't unrelated.
Who stole Dhani's jersey?
3 and out. A surprisingly good start to this game all around.
Wilbur got a piece of the kick and the punter. What the hell is going on?
Lito's tackling tonight? What the hell is going on around here these days? I feel like I'm in Bizarro World.
Wilbur ;D
jackson can actually run block. now just remember to snap the ball, jamaal! he had a niiice block on his man during one of gordon's first down runs in the first series.
surprised they didnt throw a flag. they always do it when someone slightly taps the precious punter.
Way to stop and pretend you're going to cut back, Westy.
Since they keep clogging the screen with all those pretty graphics, whose on the line tonight?
Good job, Roderick!
Hood's just been a complete idiot this year.
way to go :yay
I have to think the OL penalties have to at least be partially attributed to J. Jackson. Hope it gets straightened out.
Nice false start on Runyan.
A draw on 3rd and long gains a few, but not the first down. My god, Reid called a run play again. This is a good sign. Except the draw didn't gain the first down.
Rod Hood farged up a perfectly good punt by interfering with the fair catch. Special teams sucks a hard meatcicle.
Damn good catch by Meshawn.
Kearse knows something Simoneau doesn't; hold on even if you get trucked.
Wow...
sacking the qb helps

Yeah but they only rushed 4 on that play. They just blew the coverage on that play. Trotter cut his drop off way too soon from the looks of it. Price had 10 yards each way between him and any defender.

I think Keyshawn gonna come out and say, " Dallas could win the Superbowl if Brett Favre was the QB".

Heh, I've been working so much all I've been doing is working and sleeping.
Holy hell, Donovan, WTF was that? Run or throw, quit doing both.
McNabb tries to get cute on broken plays too often. When it works it's awesome. When it doesn't, it's ugly.

no offense, but you're just being stupid...i don't know if you're trying to make yourself feel better or something, but this season is done. the eagles are two full games and a tiebreaker behind both the cowboys and falcons, 2 games behind the bucs, and a game and the tiebreaker behind the skins for just a wildcard spot. they're quarterback is a mess, they have weak wide receivers again, they've got no punter, they're kick coverage and return units are awful, they've got almost no pass rush, and one of their starting corners is a bit too satisfied with his pro bowl appearance and big new contract.
this year is done - it happens. they've been to 4 straight championship games, finally getting to the Super Bowl, and unfortunately, even though they didn't actually win it, they got complacent. mcnabb should just get the surgery, get himself ready for next year, the eagles should play mcmahon and let some of their young guys get some experience to build up some depth for next year. they'll make some changes in the off-season, the TO mess will be a distant memory, and mcnabb will be back healthy and they'll be right back to contending for a SB.
You forgot that the starting linebackers blow and they're still not getting a great pass rush.
Also Wilma McNabb has been doing a really piss poor job as Team Mom this year.

For those that missed the postgame conferences, McNabb got pissed off when someone tried to ask a TO question, then when he was done, he needed help from 2 people just to walk down 2 steps and off the stage. Funny thing is I am listening to WIP and everyone just going off as I have the delayed broadcast on(game is delayed by the local ABC affiliate).
Good news is were leading 20-7 with 8:03 left in the fourth! We still might pull this out!
Yeah, Lito got blown by Terry Glenn, but the playcalling in the clutch flat-out sucked. Eight in the box with no help from the safety at all on Glenn's touchdown when they've been double-teaming with great success all day. My beef's with JJ on that call, not Lito. Then, WTF was that call on the Roy Williams pick? They've been running the ball with great success, then, when they need to run, they put McNabb in the frickin' SHOTGUN??? The best called game of the season, they were running the ball and had a pass rush for a change, but it was all ruined because they didn't dance with the one that brung 'em when it counted. Two plays where Andy and JJ royally farged up on.
We were in the endzone, and moved down to the 2nd row in the 4th quarter, just behind that middle age chick with the big hooters, wearing a tiara and evening gown (what a nut job). That was unbearable watching Williams run that in and proceed to make the Van Halenesque "eating Hoyda" gesture at the fans. A handful of Cowboys taunted the stunned fans as they left the field. That sucked with a capital SUCK.

Just as sure as I'm the resident female smartass here, I was at the game you mentioned above. Many people will tell you we were booing Dieon's prayer dance, and that despite an initial cheer, we remained silent and applauded a fallen star as he left the field .... I however can confirm, myself and about 50,000 others cheered his injury like we never cheered before. As he lay motionless on the field, possibly facing a lifetime of diapers, rehabilitation, and being fed liquid thru various orafaces, we had a mother farging party to end all parties. That was maybe the best 10 minutes of our life here in this concrete jungle. It really doesn't get better than Michael Cokehead Irvin writhing in pain on your homefield, his eternal contenance hanging in the balance. If he went down again today I'd do it all over. If the price I pay in
karma is a midseason loss or no chance of winning a SuperBowl, then it was worth it just to see that cocks*cker drool and twitch.
As for your team and their 5 Rings, such storied traditions? Aren't they the team who ran a legend out of his coaching job while his daughter lie terminally ill with cancer, not even telling him until his replacement was hired? Isn't your team the one that sent Emmitt Smith off to end his career in the desert rather than pay him a mill or two to play out his last season? Aren't you the guys who held a press conference announcing the release of Troy Aikman before you even contacted him to tell him personally? Keep hanging onto that 5 rings story, because thats all you have. You are about to witness the El Foldo that is Drew Bledsoe in November. You are not building towards anything, and haven't been in the last ten years. Tuna will quit soon, and as long as you have Jerry Jones playing GM, which he still is, you will have nothing to hang your hats on but the past.
What part of Texas are you from? I have no real problem with Dallas fans, its the cochroaches like you that scurry about NFL Cities around the country, wearing your jerseys after a win, and burrying them under a pile of empties when they lose. America's Team my azz. We've seen the Bears, Packers, Niners, Rams take on that mantle since then, and they all let it go. So when you pass on the job hunting again, and roll out to Walmart today to update that #22 jersey, consider that everyone likes a winner, and that for the forseeable future, that's not the Cowboys, and it certainly aint you. Consider for a moment investing in a haircut instead, and simply run around saying "we" beat the Eagles. That way when you are sitting at home watching other teams play in late january, you will still have $20 left to buy a case of Old Milwaukee and a rent a porn tape to drown your sorrows ... as opposed to wearing that jersey in public all year, you can just use the old one to clean up, while you drift off dreaming of those five rings and that night in November when
your team beat the Eagles.
Beat it loser, before your Mom figures out you've been on her computer again.
Why did Reggie Brown not catch the ball that would have given the Eagles the go ahead field goal??? AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH.
QuoteJust as sure as I'm the resident female smartass here, I was at the game you mentioned above. Howdy Bitch!
I going out on a limb and guessing you wieght between 200 - 250 pounds, and that your ass is wider than my refrigerator. Just to be clear, the karma I was talking about was the kind that keeps the entire city of philly buried in mediocrity. The Eagles had their chance at a Superbowl and blew it by playing like shiit. Same for the previous NFC championship games. Now that the bubble has burst and you are a lousy 4-5, you will continue to slid to the bottom of the NFL.
Our glorious COWBOYS are in first place in the division. We start 5 rookies. We have 7 rookies who recieve significant playing time. Parcells has been churning bad players out and good players in since he got here. Not to Andy Reid: watch and learn...
Last thing, I won't be remembering that night in November, I'll be rememebring the year we SWEPT the fecals and hammered the final coffin nail on their symbolic 2005 season with a humiliating PICK 6 on McFatass.
Bitch, your rant was so stupid that nobody will back it up...

Clean up and drift off to whatever makes you happy.
I was simply giving you advice on how to get a life, you seem to be getting a bit personal 5er. But nonetheless, you've been at 5 and counting for about 10 years, which is probably about how long you've been able to. I will concede that McNabb coughed it up, because without those miscues your Cowboys would have had a hard time outscoring the Flyers.
Bottom line is I don't give a crap about the Cowboys, I care about the Eagles. Thats why you don't see me over at the Cowboys board talking Eagles smack.
You never did mention wht part of Texas you are from.

Dallas born 1975.
if someone ever needed to get a terminal illness and die a slow, painful death....its that guy.

Can I offer you some salt for your wounds? >:D
It all comes back to this:
You shiitbags cheered when a great football player suffered a career-ending injury at your home stadium. Karma is a bitch, bitches!

Beat it loser, before your Mom figures out you've been on her computer again.
Beat it loser? Loser..... seems to me that the art of losing has been perfected by the Philadelphia sports scene. Poor Smarty Jones... A horse couldn't even make a winner out of that city. That horse didnt deserve that fate. Poor thing.
But I am not here to remind you people about the joke of a team you root for. I need to answer some of these things said to disgrace the star. America's Team.
I'll start off about Michael Irvins injury. Michael Irvin was not a model citizen during his playing career, but he was one hell of a teammate. He was also a winner. Thats everything people in Philadelphia aren't. What you typed there sounds like people cheering after seeing a car wreck. That has nothing to do with football and everything to do with just being a monster. Shame on all of you people.
Jerry Jones has made it public he regrets his decision about Landry. I was upset when it happened and my old man still hasn't forgiven him. But it was a move that had to be made. Landry was getting old and had lost touch with the NFL. It was sad but true. Had Landry had the edge the Cowboys would never have slipped into those losing seasons. Theres a reason they went 20 years without one. What I wouldn't give for another young Landry to take this team to a few more Super Bowls. The Cowboys have a winning tradition and that was the next move in the sequence.
Emmitt Smith was also a decision that had to be made. I also disagreed at the time but Parcells wanted his own identity on the team. Tony Dorsett played his last season in Denver. It is hard for a great running back to come to terms at the end. Eagle fans haven't seen a great running back since Steve Van Buren, so about 100% of the people on this board have no idea what I am talking about.
This current team was built to destroy what was left of the Eagles and it has succeeded. The defense will be tops in the conference for many years to come, and combined with an offense that is now being built with veterans in place to win now.... Well you saw the results. Parcells wants to win a Super Bowl before he leaves, and he will leave us in a great position to be the next great Cowboys team. Look what he did with the Jets and they have as bad a losing tradition as the Eagles. Imagine how much of a team he can build with God on his side.
Now on to my favorite, the nickname. Not all Cowboy fans are from Texas. They are all over America. America's Team. There was no other, and never will be. It is the Cowboys. The fact you and everyone else hate them so much is what makes it that way. Cowboy fans all over the country dont bury their jerseys. They bide their time as they wait for the next cycle to return. Its been happening for 45 years.
So instead of being so bitter, why dont you and the rest of you people come to terms with the simple facts. Your team will never win a Super Bowl. Every minute you root for this team is a minute wasted on a goal that will never be achieved. It is for nothing.
So go on cheering for Hall of Famers that suffer neck injuries. Like you said, thats the best it gets for Eagles Fans.
Blah, blah, blah, once upon a time we won a few Super Bowls. You bitches will be crying in your beers when you end the season 9-7!!

Since you took the time to post slightly delusional, but somewhat coherent rebuttal, I'll let you in on a little secret. I am not the resident female smartass here. That was a preface to clue people in that the following paragraph about Michael Irvin's injury was simply inflammatory and untrue. I am tired of explaining that day, and the fans who were at the game know what happened. Everyone liked to see Irvin, who was a borderline HOF receiver, take a lick. Heck maybe even get his bell rung. When they saw it was serious, they quieted, and then Dieon started showboating when he should have been praying quietly on the sideline. That drew a reaction, and he got the same respect and polite applause from the vast majority of the fans as he would have anywhere else in the league, once it was realized that it was serious. The passage above was a reaction to that idiot who tries to antagonize Eagles fans on an Eagles board by opening with calling people B's and "shiitbags" .... what type of response does he deserve?
There is more to the friggin' Santa Claus story, and the Irvin story, although the Buddy Ryan era stories are usually not that far from the truth .... but frankly I'm getting tired of repeating them. Think what you want, repeat it long enough, and when people get tired of fighting the stereotypes, they tend to embrace them. I could in turn piece by piece rebutt your rebuttals, but as opposing fans we may never agree. This is however an Eagles board, so if there is some good natured banter to be had for the few days on either end of a game, so be it. After you've gotten acquainted, like any guest, discussion is welcome. If you are rude and vulgar, seeking to antagonize, then you will most likely receive like comments until you are asked to leave. That's just my opinion. Thanks for yours ... talk to you next season.
I accept that and I agree. Silly posts calling names and attacking grammer are pointless. I try to make sure I dont do any of that and appriciate when none of it is returned.

I'm guilty as hell of flying off the handle and fire bombing posters who come here to talk shtein for no other reason than to be nuisances.
It's just that it's so rare to meet opposing fans who are capable of forming complete sentences and communicating coherently that it's a given that the smack will turn nasty immediately.
If you're the proverbial missing link Cowboys fan, then accept my apology and welcome aboard. If not, see you next year.
I was at the Sixers game and it was either at half-time or at the end of one of the quarters they did a news preview on the big screen. They showed McNabb and pretty much everyone but me booed him to shreds.
This town is really turning on him. I kinda feel bad for him because last year he proved a lot of doubters wrong. He chokes, but he's still a great player and the best QB ever to play here.
ha. everyone in the student section was cheering frederick r. mitchell tonight at the temple game. he is so attention starved, he actually came to the top of the section for a little (it was during the action, so most didnt notice him).
