Boooo! There are about 3 decent shows on television and they insist on cancelling two of them repeatedly. Motherfargers.

Great.  Now my old lady is gonna cry when she hears this, and I'm gonna have to eat her out to make it better.

I can just picture her stubbing her toe  against some piece of furniture and her balling and crying in pain and you getting down there and eating her out......man....that's hot.

Fox said Thursday that it will pull "Arrested Development" and "Kitchen Confidential" off the schedule for the remaining three Mondays of the November sweep, replacing them with a rerun of the previous episode of "Prison Break" leading into an original episode of the serialized drama.
"Arrested" and "Kitchen" are set to return to their time slots with original episodes December 5, following the fall finale of "Prison Break" on November 28.
Attention network fargheads: You obviously don't understand that moving shtein around like this and playing "now it's on, now it's not" is exactly why shows like this don't pick up ratings.
Fellow fans, you had to know that "Arrested" was doomed when they moved it to Monday nights.

you can watch this hilarity instead.  Dio will love the last 10 seconds.   (http://65.36.225.227/images/trading-spouses-hi.wmv)

 :P
that being said, i saw it a few times, and laughed a little.

I don't even have to click on the link to know what it is. I saw the first half of that two-hour nastiness. That woman is friggin' nuts.

it's not hard to understand why people make fun of religion.  that lady was so out of control.

it got better overall ratings, and better ratings in 18-49 this time last year than the war at home (which got picked up for a full season), and the war at home blew a bigger simpsons lead-in. fox had no reason to move to the 8pm mondays, where with no lead in and no advertising, it was destined to die. fox totally dropped the ball on this one. it was doing fine last year at 830, and given a full year after the simpsons, would be set. but no. they suck. im hoping that some other network picks it up, but it doesnt seem likely. its just a frickin joke that this show is gonna die and the war at home is still alive and american dad is still alive when they would do worse than arrested in their given time slots.

you seem to care a little to much about the future of jason bateman

So was
Ed, but you didn't see me crying like a woman over it, did you?  Woman.
Go ahead and find that one, MURP!

"Dead Like Me" already got cancelled.  It was better than "Arrested".  If you disagree, PG will fight you.

				I smell a cage match!

No thread about unjustly cancelled shows can be complete without a nod to Freaks and Geeks.  Great show.

completely agree.
but i dont need a whiny thread about it.  :-X

I've been watching the Freaks and Geeks DVDs recently. Pretty good stuff. Never destined to do well commercially. The highschool kids actually looked like highschoolers rather than 27-30 year olds! Go figure.

maybe it's because someone like me knows that 99.89% of all primetime network TV is absolute garbage and don't watch any of it, thus the occasional mildly entertaining show does not get watched.

You've OBVIOUSLY never seen "The Next Karate Kid" or "Baby Geniuses"

i've seen a couple episodes of that.  Good stuff.  There was a similar show called "Undeclared" that was pretty good too, but also didn't last.

Wasn't that with Tommy Lee?

i suggest you fargheads start watching the office. not quite as good as arrested, but its the next best thing out there.

not true. the petition last year did help in the show coming back for a third season, albeit fox took no interest in the show this year.

I'll let you continue to believe that. Of course, the Emmys had nothing to do with it.

well, counting that peter logoria said that the fans response did help it come back, i will. and emmys can only count for so much.

The fan response meant nothing.  The only "fan response" that networks pay attention to is ratings.

fine. dont believe the kid who has no life.  ^-^

Arrested Development wallowed in its own smugness and wasn't funnny at all, IMO. The Office, on the other hand, rules. Gareth Keenan is my favourite sitcom character EVAR!

Arrested Development was the most intelligent and randomly funny show on television.
The Office is funny, but not even remotely on the same level.

One of the characters is called George Michael. It should never be shown again, simply because of that.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a funny ass show.  Hopefully more people watch it when it starts up again so it doesn't follow the same fate as Arrested.
