Word is from a poster on a Dallas board that Parcells' brother passed away, but he didn't know any details. I checked the sites for the NJ/Philly papers and TV stations but didn't notice anything. As anyone else back that way heard of this?
Is he responsible for the cowboys' pass rush scheme?
Haven't heard anything up here yet...

Thanks. I guess it was presumptious of me to think there may be a mention of it on one of the NJ newspaper sites. They're always slow with new content.
They had an article about it on the official site a few hours after I asked, and it was his brother Don who died. I knew he had a previous bout with brain cancer, and that's what it was. He was blessed to live two years beyond his first battle with it, realistically. I remember the type he had was very aggressive.
The funeral is Monday, and I can't imagine how he's going to coach a football game a few hours after his closest brother is laid to rest.
I doubt it'll effect him. As bad as it is to deal with the death of a family member Parcells strikes me as the type where everything bounces off him. He'll probably be hurting but wont show it.
FARG PARCELLS AND HIS DEAD BROTHER.
The Cowboys will be rallying around their grieving coach. The MNF crew will be all over it.
The Eagles will spoil the party.

You must have a great love life.
NFL Network said that the funeral is in Jersey (?) in the afternoon and that he could have an escort to Philadelphia for the game.
