seven players in five drafts
I would count your favorite rookie DT as something we've gotten out of the draft... although you seem to be discluding this year's rookies so nevermind.
I'm pretty sure that if you looked at all the other teams you would find seven starters in five drafts is above average.
8, now that we can count Darilek ;D
Your screenname has a capital T and a capital O in it.
Change it.
Now.
That is all.

Id like to see some proof of that.
I think this only works if you say "starters on the team that drafted them".

Then I humbly suggest you do some research, and let me know the results. I'm interested too.
Consider it done...
gotta vote for my boy... ;)
In response to the 7 players in 5 drafts post -
So in 5 drafts the Eagles only have left a decent #2 WR, a feast/famine type CB, a very solid CB, a hard hitting SS who struggles a bit in pass coverage, a big-play but not an every down RB, a talented TE w/ fumbling problems and a good OG/OT prospect - although he's by no means there yet.
This is a problem. And it should be analyzed by who is still on the team - Corey Simon, Raheem Brock, and Derrick Burgess aren't helping them anymore (but boy could the DL use one or more of them).
I picked three of the teams that have done the best as far as wins and losses go over the past few years. These lists omit this year's draft.
Patriots – 12 starters/significant contributors
DT Vince Wilfook
TE Ben Watson and Daniel Graham - both get significant playing time
S Eugene Wilson
DE Ty Warren
CB Asante Samuel
WR Deion Branch
WR David Givens
DE Richard Seymour
QB Tom Brady
OT Adrian Klemm
FB Patrick Pass
Steelers – 10 starters/significant contributors
OG Kendall Simmons
WR/KR Antawn Randle El
FS Chris Hope
QB Big Ben
LB Larry Foote
DT Casey Hampton
OT Marvel Smith
KR/PR/CB Ricardo Colclough
SS Troy Polamalu
CB Ike Taylor
Colts – 12 starters or significant contributors
TE Dallas Clark
DE Dwight Freeney
WR Reggie Wayne
LB Rob Morris

FS Bob Sanders
CB Joseph David
LB David Thornton

I saw that. He also tipped the Vikings for the Super Bowl, which is why that prediction worries me deeply.

Lets hope this PK is right (for a change) then we can make Reggie ROW two weeks in a row.
Then we can spend the entire month of Jan. stuffing the ballot for him as Rookie of the Year!
