Apologies if this is a dupe.
Whitlock reporting that his head/spine injury is much more serious than the Chiefs are letting on, and now there are rumors around KC that he may not only be done for the season, but that the injury may be a career-ender.
Anyone else hearing anything up there?
FTR -- I had both TO and Priest in my no-money league. But I drafted L Johnson in my money league!
In the only FFL league in which I have Priest, I also have Larry.
wouldnt be the first time they thought he had a career ending injury.
Running backs from Penn State are always busts. You should all trade me Larry Johnson because of my sentimentality. I'm such a sucker to trade you all for him. Seriously. Suck it.

Once Tony Hunt hits the NFL, the PSU RB "curse" will be officially thrown out the window.
Blair Thomas, Ki-Jana Carter, and Curtis Enis can go to hell. Go kick some ass, LJ!

That Franco Harris guy was ok too.
Greg Lewis's reception on Sunday night was more immaculate. He just didn't get credit for it.

Yeah totally. Letting a catchable ball slip through your arms so that you have to catch it with your calfs is especially divine.

Ki-Jana Carter was great until he got hurt, then he did decent until he got hurt, then he got hurt.

Ki-Jana Carter was great until he got hurt,
yeah that 2.9 ypc was pretty good for being on the Bengals.
Isn't that what Westbrook's averaging this season?
Pro Bowl bound!
His receiving average is higher than any year so far, and he's also on pace to have more receptions and receiving TD's than he's had in any year, so he's having success where possible, considering Andy's playcalling.
Pro Bowl WR bound!
There's a rumor he's retiring tomorrow.
Did you just start that rumor?

Found something else interesting in there:
QuoteFB McKie Activated, FB Edwards Cut
AP, ESPN.com - [Full Article]
The Chicago Bears released veteran FB Marc Edwards and activated FB Jason McKie from the non-football injury list on Tuesday. Edwards, who signed with the Bears in July, started five games and caught 10 passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns. McKie, a four-year veteran, has played in 22 games, 21 in two seasons with Chicago.
McKie used to be an Eagles PS guy. Edwards used to be a Patriot.
Could Edwards be any worse than Parry? The Bears running game has actually been pretty good this year.

Please stop asking questions you already know the answer to.

Yeah, he could....
in opposite world.
Tony Bruno said on his show that Priest Holmes could be announcing his retirement as soon as tomorrow. So the rumor wasn't made up.
Apparently when he got examined they found a lump on his spine. And if he's hit there he could be paralyzed.
In other news, get Edwards.
