Where will TO be next year?
I'm hoping for the taterskins, personally.

Man, that would be great. You know it wouldn't take long for him to publicly whine about Mexico's horrible passing. I don't think Mora would have TO on his team, though.
Mmmm. Delicious cancer.
Jacksonville?
I really, really want to see him in Atlanta. Oh, THAT would be fun.

Yeah, TO with a qb who'd rather run than pass. That relationship wouldn't last as long as the one that was axed today.
Trade his ass to the Bengals.
I hope it's no team in the NFC.
Arizona needs another WR :P

I'm with shore on this one. If he's traded, I hope it's to a zesty AFC team. I don't need to see TO on the opposing sideline twice a year like some of you monkeybutts are thinking about.
The number of teams that 1) would accept TO and 2) don't already have a #1 wide receiver is small.
That's why i said Jax. Smith is ready to retire.
We could trade him to Buffalo for Moulds. I'm sure Mularkey would put TO in his place.
taterskins, Bucs, Titans, Dolphins, Falcons(yes, despite what Blank said), Chiefs.
Even the taterskins aren't dumb enough to bring in TO when they already have the best performing receiver in the NFL.

That is simply not true. That organization is dumb enough to do anything. They'll have interest. Guaranteed.
By the way, how soon can we trade his malignant ass?

First day of the NFL calendar year 2006. Usually that's March.

we said we didn't want plex because of his attitude, you are talking about d-bag extraordinaire.
Next QB eagles that is an exellent observation.
You will get jack shtein for to, look at what the vikings got for randy and TO is randy's attitude x 10

They got a starting LB and a first round pick... I would take those for TO in a farging heartbeat.

yeah you are probably right, i guess i was thinking about something something else. you could most likely pull a first rounder from some sad team. I would say baltimore but you would think they have already had enough of to
just trade outside the division, TO is still a good player
Owens will not be traded...
1. The trading deadline has passed this year
2. When the moratorium is lifted on trades in March, he'll be a FA because the Eagles will refuse to pay him the roster and option bonuses so he'll be a UFA.
No trade.
I have a feeling that he'll end up in Dallas.

If he ends up in the division I hope he ends up there simply for the fact that I'd love to see how Cowpuke fan hypocritically welcomes him to the team. Besides, then Meshawn would finally have someone on the sidelines he can relate to.

Hm. That eats balls. I almost hope they pay him his roster bonus just to completely farg him over and have complete control over his football destiny. It would be worth the $7+ mil...
They can trade him back to San Fran since they have a straight QB now.
Pretty sure Dallas is still upset over the star thing.
Well according to Irvin, they are stacked with #2 WR's...they could use a #1 down there.

I'd fly down to Dallas, kidnap Jerry Jones and both his sons and ship them off to South America for electroshock therapy if owens ended up in Dallas.
Any team that accepted him into the fold would have to dream up a contract with every clause known to man included, and possibly a few new ones. Personally I think it would be easier to hire a top notch neurosurgeon to wire his cerebellum in such a way that he's rendered speechless every time a T.O. thought enters his head.

:-D
I actually want him in Atlanta.
So he'd serve a purpose in ripping Vick. The first time he is open and Vick runs TO will shtein himself.
But I doubt he goes there. Blank hates him and the OC is Knapp...the dude he berated in SF on the sidelines
Vick will be exposed as the zesty QB he is if TO went there. I don't think he'll go there.
I wonder, if Dallas or Washington gets TO....how exactly will those fans (and they have ALL TROLLED HERE) react?
I guess I should start going through all of the bash TO threads from both fans...get them handy. :-D Would love to see him react with Brunell and Bledsoe as his QBs. :-D
See, what you do is you send him to anyone of these places that he would be sufficiently miserable because of another player, coach, whatever. Detroit with a former coach and Garcia, as well as being the wide receiver graveyard(Where talent goes to die). Atlanta, with Knapp and Vick there. KC where he can deride Vermeil for his crying. San Francisco, just for chuckles.
Put a clause in his contract that stipulates he can say anything he wants about a teammate or coach in private, but if it's said to the media, he's to be subjected to a series of enemas to be adminstered by Phyllis Diller, Dennis Rodman, RuPaul and Richard Simmons, with Garcia has a a special assistant.
So nice you had to say it twice?

My connection was acting up earlier, and I hadn't even noticed it posted twice.
From PFT:
QuoteCurrent speculation in league circles is that the Broncos will offer him a one-year, short-fuse, incentive-laden deal once he's on the market. We continue to believe that taterskins owner Dan Snyder won't be able to resist pursuing Owens, and that coach Joe Gibbs ultimately will conclude that he can control T.O. Still, the team privately is getting the word out that they aren't and won't be interested -- perhaps to deflect any suspicion of tampering if they make a deal with him minutes after he becomes a free agent.
Another team to consider is the Dolphins. T.O. has a soft spot for South Florida, home of his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Also, Owens has been a regular on talk radio in Miami, with a weekly appearance this season on 790 AM. The Nicktator hasn't exactly amassed a crew of choir boys in Miami, and if Saban can manage the personalities that already are in the building, he arguably can handle Owens, too.
Tell me how all of these coaches can "handle" TO?
Please. Someone tell me.
If it's between Denver, Washington, or Dallas, is it OK if I just laugh?

How funny would it be to see the fans from those teams JUSTIFY the pickup? After all of the shtein they've spewed on this board all year.
No coach can "handle" TO. TO is a "super flamboyant all about me and cross me once you're dead to me kinda guy."
He won't change. He'll be the same anywhere he goes. He'll find something to bitch about or someone to rip on.
Wow, I typed "Dallas", but I meant "Miami". Weird.

Which is my point...if Reid couldn't handle him and a guy like GRUDEN couldn't handle Keyshawn, tell me how GIBBS will handle TO. :-D
That's easy... Gibbs is god.
Please be Miami. Don't they still have Boston?
I still would like for the Eagles to pay his roster bonus and bench him for the season, and continue to do so for the rest of his contract, effectively killing his career.

That would be awesome, if the team had no pressing needs to address with that money.
Jim Mora Sr said he'd disown his son if his team signs Owens (Atlanta).
Wow, now I want him to go to Atlanta.
I couldn't be rooting for Atlanta more (to get T.O.).
Damn, I would cream myself if he went to Atlanta. You've got no idea how everyone down here plays all high and mighty about TO and how "Arthur Blank would never have a player like that on his team". Everyone from the suddenly arrogant fans to the local radio stations. I would LOVE to see them backpedalling like hell about how that would now a positive for the Falcons.
Oh... and it would most definitely expose the myth of the Mike Vick experience. :evil
