Quick question for people who know such things:
I'm trying to do a random image component for my personal site. I found a way to do it using my Coppermine sql database, but I need to provide the db user name and db password for the utility to work. I checked mySQL, and I can't find that info. How can I find that? I tried my the admin username/pw combo that I established for the Coppermine site, and that wasn't right.
Any ideas?
Whooosh...
That's the sound your post made as it flew right over my head.
And I saw that you replied and thought, hey Dio knows...great. Imagine my disappointment. ;)
Dude, it's a miracle I can upload my avatar picture to my own site. :paranoid

What version of Coppermine are you running? I ask not because I'm necessarily familiar with the program, mind you, but because I remember reading that earlier versions of Coppermine had a password security vulnerability.

Thanks. Latest version. They addressed that, I think.

I'll give that a shot, thanks. I was just thinking that there was a place in myPHPadmin that I could check to see that info easily. Pipe dream, I guess.
Is there a config file somewhere that gets loaded via a require or something? If so, you'll probably find what you need in there.
