Seriously. Cheesesteak and mayo everywhere. (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2188585)
Talking about NFL Coaches...
Quote"I'm pretty sure it wasn't something in the drinking water in Seattle," said longtime NFL assistant Larry Kennan, now the executive director of the NFL Coaches Association. "It's more about the stress of the [coaching] profession, the lifestyle that comes with it and the manner in which guys take care of themselves, or, more [appropriately], don't take care of themselves. I'm amazed that the stress doesn't kill more of them. I'm surprised, quite frankly, more [coaches] don't just drop dead."
That's why he's on a strict diet and losing weight.
Or did you miss that thread?
His heart is pumping peanut butter and finely pureed salami through his veins right now. I seem to remember his being on diets before so until he looks like a tight end instead of a walrus, I'm going to go ahead and ignore reports that he is on a 'strict diet.'

They're not just "reports". He's doing an advertising campaign for LA Weight Loss. Its not just some "oh, I heard he's on a diet". He's lost 50 pounds and LA Weight Loss is as strict as it gets. Before, he was just "watching what he ate" kind of diets, according to him in one of his ads.
Like I said, until he can fit into something other than sweatpants, I'm not going to be convinced that he is healthy.

I don't think he's "healthy" right now either. But he IS doing the right thing about it.
Peanut butter, dude. Peanut butter.
Anyone else having a cheesesteak for lunch today?

I don't know, I didn't take Spanish in high school.
i always found it a little bit hypocritical for reid to be on his players about conditioning and disipline, all the while transforming from this...

Actually, IGY, studies have shown that the people who vent their anger more often are less prone to stress inducing diseases. The ones that bottle it up are much more likely to die younger.
"Listen to him, flounder, he's in pre-med."
I wonder if message board venting counts. If so there are lots of extremely healthy people around here.

getting stressed out=stress=heart stunna
call it what you want...burnout...exhaustion...stress...whatever...reid doesnt have it
And if you vent your anger you are less prone to become stressed.
And if you vent your anger you are less prone to become stressed
that isnt what im saying...andy reid doesnt care whether he wins or not...i take that back...he wants to win of course...but hes not gonna kill himself doing it and if he loses he doesnt get stressed out by it...its like oh well well do it again next year...

you are simply assuming that you know everything about Reid from his appearance in the media. that doesnt fly.

LBF...the guy has lost 50 lbs on LA Weight loss, which is a really strict diet program that teaches a healthy way of eating. He has only been on it for 15 weeks and is already down 50. I expect to see him by next year's TC half the man he is now.
And just to set the record straight...a "morman" is the male version of a "mormaid."
Geez. Every year we get the same two news bites. Pinky bulked up in the off season and Andy has slimed down. Pinky never got any bigger and last year was the first year that I remember Andy actually looking slimmer at the beginning of the season. By the end of the season he was huge. We can only hope that Andy actually sticks to this diet and levels off at whatever weight he is comfortable with. The losing and gaining (yo-yoing) is definately not healthy.
BTW, if Andy shows up at TC next year as half the man he now is, would that make him a Lessmon instead of a Mormon?

He's never lost this much and he's never been on a calculated diet. I had never heard a story about Reid losing weight before, it just looked (in the past) that he might have slimmed down a bit.
MAN, the puns are bad on this post.
And, for the record, poor diet and sedentary lifestyle are much better predictors of cardiac health than stress.
I have a monster headache today.

I'm glad PG is here to defend AR's fat gut. The world is a better place thanks to her.
I'm glad that this thread is three pages long considering it was lame after the first couple posts.
