Albert Lee?
Dave Edmunds?
Ry Cooder?
The Rising Sons?
Michael Bloomfield?
Black Lamb?
Dolly Parton's "9 to 5?"
David Bromberg?
John Hartford?
The Knitters?
God damn!
I like twizzlers. I'm eating them right now. They're good.
No. They're reeeeeaaaaal good.
Count me down for Ry Cooder and Dave Edmunds.
Actually, you ever listen to Little Village? It's the group formed by John Hiatt, Nick Lowe, Ry Cooder and Jim Keltner every decade or so.
I'm ignorant to Little Village. I'll look for that. You should check out The Rising Sons if you dig Ry Cooder and don't know it. The Rising Sons were Taj Mahal and Ry Cooder (and a few other folks) playing together in '64 through '66, when they were very young. Fantastic stuff.
I'll take a listen.
So no one else is a fan of Twizzlers I take it? Anyone? Anyone?
I thought Black Lamb might catch some metal head's eye. Or the Knitters some old punker's. And goddamnit if you don't think Dolly Parton's '9 to 5' is anything less than awesome, then you farging suck.
