Big Red says that McMahon hurt his knee and will have exploratory arthriscopic surgery soon so they can se what the problem is.
My question is...how the hell did he hurt his knee?!? Did he trip over the clipboard?
If he's out for some time and McNabb does go down...hello Neckbeard for the rest of the year.
Also:
Akers is getting better

Don't go into too much detail, Andy. You might give something away.
what about Rayburn
I forgot aboot Rayburn...
AC sprain (shoulder) and will be fine
Walker and Smith -- get well quickly.
Does anyone believe that McNabb didn't aggrevate his injury yesterday? He had too many worm burners and overthrows to dismiss...
yeah, i just watched the pc...wtf?
On a side note...who holds the ball if neckbeard gets hurt???? I don't remember seeing a backup holder anywhere in the preseason.

He hurt it on a roll out. They showed it on TV when he aggravated the injury.
And they also said that he has to be warmed up sufficiently to have it not affect him.
So will he start warming up on Friday now?
Also, Derrick Gunn said on PGL that he was told that McNabb had a bad week of practice, for whatever its worth.
He has to be stretched out and warm up sooner. Since this is the 2nd week of him really dealing with it I guess that they learn more each week on what it takes to get him ready to go.
How 'bout some farging surgery? If he keeps playing this zesty with it, we won't need him in January.

And McMahon is hurt now. So if Mcnabb does go in for surgery there is no guarantee that he makes it make in time to help out either. What if the surgery has complications? When you get cut there are ZERO guarantees.
It's a tough situation.
bubby brister.

I'll bet Bobby Hoying is available!
Screw Hoying! Hail Neckbeard! :flipoff

.........alright, alright...........Hail Neckbeard, I'll go drink a sixpack of King Cobra tonight so's I can show my loyalty.
Tim Couch! Seriously. How awesome would it be for McNabb to have his backup be the only guy drafted ahead of him. :D
Is Blake still with Chicago or did they release him? If McMahon were to go down and Blake's available I guess I'd go after him since he studied the offense for a year.
what if they both go into surgery...and then they both die! has anyone thought of that?! :o
3 words ...WE ARE fargED

Trying to carry Koy's enormous cup and supporter.
Isn't Doug Pederson available? He knows the offense.

Yes. New QB depth chart:
McNabb
Couch
Akili
McNown
After Culpepper gets cut this year we can bring him in to replace McNown. :D
Shouldn't Shaun King be on that list somewhere? ;)
No. He wasn't a first round pick. :P
You're right, dammit. That surreal hype that surrounded the legendary Class of '99 QBs is such a strong memory that I always forget that King fell to the second round. :flipoff
Lets trade a second round draft pick for AJ Feeley :D
from todays Inquirer:
QuoteThird-string quarterback Mike McMahon, who underwent exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery during the bye week, is also expected to be back at practice and ready if needed for the game against the Chargers.
"They just cleaned it out and he should be 100 percent ready," Brian Mackler, the agent for McMahon, said.
:yay
Yeah, that is good.
I'll bet he's on steroids. How else could he heal so quickly? Seriously. Steroids.

If you were holding a heavy ass clipboard containing 648 pass plays and 3 running plays, you'd be on steroids too.
