I figured everyone was as sick as I was of reading all the Cowboy fans BS who are invading our site. This story was in the Honolulu paper yesterday. To show you what a small world this is, I was surfing at my favorite spot yesterday and ran into my good buddy who is one of the guys mentioned in this article. He was surfing with these three boys and introduced me to them. What a great bunch of human beings. Nice, good mannered gentleman. They've been through hell the past few years. Their Maori/New Zealand accents were so cool.
Just something to get your minds off wanting to strangle those farging Cowboy dickwads.

Excellent story. It really is a different world out there, isn't it.
I've got to visit out there sometime.

Thanks Geo. Sure puts life in perspective.
You'd love it out here.
Thanks for the article Don. The wife and I watched one of the races as they came in to Duke's finish line. It was something to see, that's for sure.
Plus, Duke's has some amazing Hula Pie! :yay
How did these boys do?
Demon:
You know it man! We surfed of Duke's this morning with a bunch of friends and their boys.
Team New Zealand finished fifth. I didn't get the low down as to how it went. My buddy who paddles for them said on Thursday that the boys were going to be in for a rude awakening about two hours into the race. That's the real test when the current kicks in and you start asking yourself "What in the hell am I doing out here?".
