My friend Dan (who lives out in KC), finally went to an Eagles game for the first time in his life, and sat behind the end zone. Here were some thoughts on the game from his point of view...
He was constantly getting ribbed by KC fans in the first half
During Hall's KO return for a TD, the noise was the loudest he had ever heard
Diehard Chief's fans call the team the "Red-Coaters"
The air of confidence with Chiefs fans was overwhelming in the first half. They talked much stein, and even started talking about their next game. They laughed and downplayed the level of competition in the NFC, how the Eagles got to the Super Bowl, and how the Eagles are overrated, blah, blah, blah
The KC fans totally dismissed the Eagles as a viable threat, until the TD to TO late in the 2nd quarter, when some grumbling could be heard
During the 3rd quarter, Arrowhead stadium grew eerily quiet. The only time there was noise was when Owens made a catch, and the KC fans started complaining
When Bartrum scored, Dan started talking stein, and no one said anything
In the 4th quarter, the TD to LJ was the dagger, and he said it was funny. It seemed when LJ did his TD celebration (the bow and arrow), the KC fans just sat there in disbelief. When LJ finished it with the "poof explosion thing" it seemed like it was a cue from the TE himself, and the KC fans started heading for the exits en masse
After that, you could hear the E-A-G-L-E-S chants, and the fight songs
A large contingent of Birdz fans made their way to a seating level behind the Eagles bench, but when he tried to join them, he and a few others were stopped by security
When the final gun sounded, there was much more hunter green and white in the stands than red
The Birdz players were noticably pumped as they went off the field, and the Birdz fans were as well. Arrowhead was tamed.
Security did not allow any late tailgating by a few of the Birdz fans outside of the stadium. They had about 45 minutes to celebrate (which wasn't a lot of time) and then leave the parking lot.
He said there are a lot of sore faces at work today, no one wants to talk about the game. Big topic of discussion is Bush's supreme court nomination :-D
To be fair, that Dubya nominated his own lawyer for the SC probably is a bigger story than the KC-PHL game.
If you read this board, there was a group from here that was there.

Not quite as queer as the DTC, but close.
I watched the game with a KC fan, one of my buddies. I was totally unemotional when they were laying it on us in the first half. His neighbor came over who is also a KC fan and was talking shtein the entire time. Laughing and going on. Then Sheldon Brown picks off the pass for a TD and the 4 eagles fans go crazy and like clockwork his neighbor leaves and never came back. My buddy sat through the come back and was pissed, he started taking shots and then with 7 minutes left the fans started leaving the game, I couldn't believe it. Then he walked in with 3 minutes left and never came back out. we just left in pure delight. zesty fans they got out there. :boo :boo
