Let get it on .....
Game Day Roster Moves:
Free safety Sean Considine will suit up for the first time in his NFL career against the Chiefs. With the release of wide receiver Darnerien McCants, there was an extra roster spot for gameday and it will be filled by the team's fourth-round draft pick in the 2005 NFL Draft.
There were no surprises otherwise for the Eagles inactives. Kicker David Akers and defensive tackle Darwin Walker are out with injuries. Recently signed Todd France will play in his first-ever NFL game. Rookie Mike Patterson is replacing Walker in the starting lineup.
The other inactives are as followed. Mike McMahon is the third quarterback. Running back Ryan Moats, safety Jeremy Thornburg, linebacker Matt McCoy, tackles Calvin Armstrong and Todd Herremans are the other inactives.
The Chiefs received a big blow to their running game as tackle Willie Roaf will not play with a hamstring injury. Jordan Black will start at left tackle for Roaf and Kevin Sampson will slide over to right tackle for Black.
The other Chiefs inactives are: tackles Will Svitek, Jeremy Parquet and Roaf; wide receiver Chris Horn; defensive tackle Ryan Sims; defensive end Khari Long; linebacker Keyaron Fox and the third QB is Damon Huard.
I expect Kearse to do something more today even though run defense wil be their first priority.
GO EAGLES!
Can't wait... will be listening to the game while doing some translationwork for college...
im in nyc and so have to wait till the giants and rams game ends.....thing is this game is taking forever...they just started the 4rth...im looking at missing a good chunk of the 1st qrt for the eagles.
lets try to do the play by play for us poor folk!
and oh yeah WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!
FOX just used the opening ten seconds of Raining Blood to intro the game. Nice.
France is kicking off. Short kick to the ten, taken to the 35.
PBP please... when the game starts of course. :D
Holmes runs for four, cuts right back into Kalu.
why in the world is this giants game taking forever to end???!!?!??!?!?!!?!!?!
Quick slant to Kennison, first down, 14 yards.
WR screen to Kennison for 7.
Run D sounds decent on the first snap... just 4 yards... s***! 13 yard pass to Kenison
Good to see my boy finally out on the field! Go Iggs!
2nd and 3, pitch left to Holmes, close to the first down but he should be short.
First and 10, playaction screen to Holmes, 9 yard pickup.
Toss right to Holmes, 6 yards.
Toss left, Priest plows through the defense to get to the 2 yard line.
Ok... is the D waiting until after this drive to start playing? :-\ :D

Their O-Line is owning our D. This looks real bad so far. Hopefully, the D will buckle down.
1st and goal, handoff right for no gain.
2nd and goal, dive up the middle for the TD.
I'm predicting 37-14 Chiefs.
Holy shtein. That looked farging awful. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a shootout, because we'll probably lose that battle.

At least it won't be a kickers duel.
Ouch, they made that look rather easy :o
Holmes has 41 yards on that drive. Super.
Wind knocked the ball off the tee. :)
Kickoff five yards into the endzone, down at the 22.
1st and 10, crowd is pretty loud. Ball had to be respotted, the wind blew it on the ground. McNabb tosses to LJ for 5.
Sounds like the defense need some pepper shoved in their behind... that did not sound good at all.....
2nd and 4, dink to Westbrook and he gets crushed a yard short of the first down. Progress given. First down.
Timeout - Philly

1st and 10, singleback set, handoff to Westbrook, tripped in the backfield by Tra. 1 yard gain.
2nd and 9, I set, pass to TO for a first down, 12 yard gain.
1st and 10, singleback, flea flicker, deep to TO, way overthrown.
Two minute warning - if FOX doesn't switch I am gonna lose it!
Not overthrown, good coverage.
2nd and 10, Westbrook charges right for 7.
im going to rip sam rosens head off...each TO or commercial break in the giants game he keeps going "a great game coming up..eagles and chiefs...stay tuned" as if he is rubing it in my balls.
CUT TO THE EAGLES FOX!
3rd and 3, crowd is pumped, 5 wide, incomplete to TO. No flags, but he's demanding one.

4th and 7, Lawrence Tynes kick is good.
I am gonna have dreams of these two clowns announcing the Giants game. C'mon already!!!!!

I guess pass interference is legal now.
3rd and 8, shotgun, McNabb Aussie rules dribbles it, hit after a short gain.

Great balance, Andy. Make your injured QB throw all day.
How about Westbrook learns that when you need ONE farging yard, you run forward...you don't take a little 2 step HOP and dance around with the farging ball. Perhaps he'll get the contract he wants if he could learn that one simple aspect to being a RUNNING BACK.

Hell all you really need to do is go back to a couple of those Colts bitchsmack games. Thus far this is tame in comparison. Which isn't saying much. :P
I think most objective Eagles fans had this game marked as a loss, but I still expected them to at least put some effort in.

Way to run right into two defenders, Westbrook.

The special teams are playing worse than I can remember from even the Kotite era. The other two phases are playing subpar but nothing too out of the ordinary.
Refs saying Dhani didn't come up with the pick. Reid is ready to challenge, but not gonna do it.
Oh good, he does challenge. Buck's saying they're going to lose that challenge.
What's he challenging for? Quit stopping the clock already.

I wonder if McNabb knows there's other receivers other than TO playing

It's great that they didn't call that hold there on that huge run. Maybe if the pull the jersey completely off next time.
considering how crappy everything was that half, being down 11 isnt too bad
The sad thing is, the injuries have absolutely nothing to do with this losing, and the injuries were the main concern.
You take away that pathetic TD return we let up and the farged up snap on the EP, it's a 3 point game. The Eagles are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR superior to the Chiefs, and if we don't come back and win this game it's

This has been a mess, and even if we sneak away with the W, there are some real farging problems on this team. The most glaring to me, other that special teams, is the run/pass ratio. France only missed a 41 yard field goal in swirling winds. He had a fantastic game for his first in the NFL.
I wouldn't call any game were a kicker hits a lineman in the back fantastic.
The winds didn't even affect the field goal, it was blocked because it was a little low.
France is the man. Not only did good for his first NFL start, but his kicks were clutch and he didn't get down on himself for missing one.
I noticed Ware at LB - JJ moves him around a lot in dime packages.
Artis Hicks has disappointed me this year. Not a good game for double-7 today. I'd consider starting Clarke.
TO & LJ's celebrations were awesome.
I was very impressed with the comeback. And the way Donny Mac played should shut up the "get surgery now" folk.

Considine got oh so close to blocking that punt. That was one of his specialties in college. I think he'll get him 1 or 2 this year.
However, Mr. Cnsidine was the dude responsible for Hall returning that kickoff 96 yards. Hall ran through his lane and he whiffed on him big time.

Well, if you are going to get smoked by someone in your first game, it might as well be Dante Hall. Not only did Considine come close to blocking the punt, but he was really damn close (diving) on two PATs. I couldn't understand what he was doing to come free again and again. One another rookie note, Cole was out there and looked okay too, meaning he wasn't completely lost and got his hat on the ball several times. Overall, I think a decent game put in by the rooks. :yay

So if Gras is cooked, does Marshall get called up or is Walker ready to return?
