Title: Pumped In Crowd Noise
Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on September 30, 2005, 09:20:16 AM
Big Red had crowd noise pumped into their practice bubble yesterday. They used 4 big ass speakers that were hung 30 feet in the air during practice so they could work on the silent snap.

I like the idea. They have never really done that before, but after that pitiful performance in ATL, they're working on not having the dumbass motion penalties (Hello, LJ)

I like it. I don't think it'll make much difference, but I think it'd be cool to practice that way.

why do you need loud noise to practice a silent snap

Because without the noise, Donovan wouldn't be able to shout the plays.   :sly

galludet a deaf college in dc used to have a massive drum on the sideline and theyd pound it sending off huge sound waves to the team that let them know the ball was gonna being snapped

be pretty cool if the birds did that

False start penalties in Atlanta:

Artis Hicks x 2
L.J Smith

And a general confusion when trying to execute the shotgun plays due to noise.

False start penalties in Kansas City:

Zero

The Eagles only had 3 penalties yesterday (delay and two holdings)

Great job in adjusting to the crowd noise.

I was impressed with Clarke stepping in there without missing a beat.

Hicks needs an MRI on his ankle today.

Even if healthy I actually hope that Clrake takes his job. Give him a wake-up call because Hicks has flat out fargin stunk this year.

KC had more false starts than Philly.
