16 - 10 Birds
24-17
If the Chiefs had beaten Denver, I'd feel differently... but I simply think the Chiefs will be too hungry to lose this game at home, coming off a loss to a hated rival on the road.
Chiefs 24
Eagles 17
I would love to be proven wrong.
After watching the Broncos-Chiefs game last night, and the with the way we were against the run in the Oakland game, I'm thinking Jimmy J does about the same in shutting down Green/Gonzalez. The running game concerns me, but the Chief's "Improved D" got shredded by the Broncos. I think we jump out early and the D toughs it out.
Iggs 24-14.
Also, who do the Chiefs have that can cover T.O?
My bold prediction, watch for Considine out there on a few series. I'm think Jim Johnson will bring in an extra safety and stack Dawk/Lewis on Gonzalez at the line.

i have as much chance of playing a few series this week than he does
its virtually impossible to predict this game without knowing donovans health situation...yet i will attempt to do so in my normal friday slot...i know yous cant wait
i'll wait for a late in the week prediction myself.
If they were going to trot out a guy to play left field, why Considine over Mikell or Hood?

What I think you mean is, "I have about as much of a shot at predicting anything with my dope prediction powers as I do at having people on this board take anything I say seriously."
Yup, I
predict that's what you meant to say.
i could post on this board for three lifetimes and i would never say something so stupid as sean considine is going to play this week

I would image Mikell would be mixed in too, like I said, it'd be for a few series. I am just making a prediction that this will be the first time this season Considine gets some playing time. I'm his sponsor, gotta stay up on my boy! :yay

You've been posting here for what? Six months? A year? And you've already said at least 30 things that were much more stupid. Don't be so down on yourself. What me to quote ya? Nah, you could just look at FFPat's sig for proof. :P
If McNabb has 80 % mobility(compared to 50 on Sunday) Eagles win by 10

Christ. I hope not. I don't see Chiefs fans as the type, but there are always a few I guess.

Fool! Neither one of those guys play anymore!
I think the Chiefs will win; however, I do not believe a reason exists to pick against the team for which I root.

He's a smart man. He knows Kansas City is where he pay comes from.
My checks come from KC whenever Louisiana gets flooded out.
Did you people watch the game last night? Jesus.

Right, nevermind the issues on the other side. ::)
No Willie Roaf + Jim Johnson + terrible QB when hurried = Eagles 28 Chiefs 13
Before the season started, when we all do the W-L thing I had this penciled in as a possible loss.
I even was iffy on it earlier this week.
However, I like the Birds. I like the defense way too much and like them against that Chefs OL. I like how the team usually responds when they're being doubted.
Birds - 31
Chefs - 17
i had this as a probable loss earlier as well, but no Roaf is big to me and i think their defense was exposed a bit on Monday night.

I always have a bad feeling when the birds play. Funny thing - one of my sons spelling words this week was pessimist. He had to define the word as well. I told him "Let me help you with a few examples."

FOX sports pick:
QuotePhiladelphia at Kansas City: Dick Vermeil was talking in the library the other day when the librarian rightfully told him to be quiet. He broke down into tears, screaming, "Why does she have to be so honest?! Someone do something! Make her apologize!" Eagles 17, Chiefs 10.

QuotePhiladelphia (2-1) at Kansas City (2-1)
The mutual love-fest between Andy Reid and Dick Vermeil gets pushed aside long enough for one of the great games of this season. Donovan McNabb grimaces through the pain and finds Greg Lewis for a late touchdown to win it.
Philadelphia 28, Kansas City 27

QuotePhiladelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs were awful against the Broncos, but they're a different team at home. This is a chance to prove they are among the elite. The Eagles are hurting -- no David Akers; Donovan McNabb is banged up -- so we like the Chiefs in this spot. Chiefs 28, Eagles 24.

Green's looked really average this season, I think we concentrate on shutting their run down and our D gets the better of them.
We showed that we can stop the run as long as Trotter is in there. If we lose, it will have to be because of Trent Green and Eddie Kennison. I'll take my chances with those two old piles of shtein.

Looks to be a kinda wet day in KC...Tollefson says it was raining all night with t-storms. He said the field was a mess and they had a gay ass soccer game on it to boot. But the crew is out there working on it now.

I like the Eagles this week because, besides some minor mental mistakes, the defense has played extremely well the last couple of weeks. They have been stalwarts against the run. And if they can focus in on shutting down Priest, their WR corps doesn't scare me at all against this secondary.
However, with the hostile environment, McNabb being banged up, and a rookie kicker possibly trying to make some clutch kicks, it is not going to be a blow out by any stretch of the imagination, I think. And personally, I wouldn't be suprised if the Eagles do loose. But hey, why would I pick against my boys? I'm a friggin' fan, it doesn't make any sense to pick any other way. I don't think I could enjoy the game if I thought the Eagles were going to loose. It should be a tight, good game, and I think the scales will tip in the birds favor.

I only see us winning if the defense scores one....
