quick pass over the middle to LJ Smith. boring, but effective.
i say TO deep. he loves to do it, and he doesn't even care if the other team knows he's going to do it.
he always starts the season with something special.
onsides kick! :D
Play action, G-Lew on a curl for 8 yards.
i say pass to westy out of the backfield for a gain of 18.
they wont go deep first play its going to be way to loud
first play will be safe...i kinda agree quick pass...but more likely to TO on a 8 yard out or curl...productive and will hush the crowd a little

like that 14 yard pass to Chad Lewis last season?
or the incomplete pass to CBUCK in 2003?
or the sack of McNabb to start things off in 2002?
;)
I think a bomb to TO is in order to change that string of pathetic plays!
Slant to Greg Lewis...
TO on a reverse, passes to McNabb for a 72 yard TD. McNabb finishes it by pulling a sharpie out of his pocket, signing Greg Lewis, and handing him to a fan.
At half time, Donovan hires Rosenhaus as his agent in an attempt to be the highest paid receiver in the NFL.

:-D
4 WR's (one is L.J.), Smith comes in motion across the formation from left to right, handoff to Westbrook.
Nice gain behind Andrews/Runyan, with Hicks pulling also.

if everyone knows the play call and cadence before the they go on the field, it doesn't matter how loud it is
They're going to go deep. Like Mo said...Reid doesn't care if everyone knows he's doing it. He did it almost every game for two years with Todd Pinkston.
Whether he goes to TO or Greg Lewis it will depend on coverage.
1. He'll go to TO if the safety doesn't roll to help Hall or if the safety is late on getting over.
2. If a safety escorts TO with Hall then McNabb will go to Greg Lewis down the left sideline. Give GLew some confidence.
ATL's safeties suck by the way.

they are supposed to know that every play...if its loud...they cant hear...and the tackles get a late start against those ends going downhill on that carpet then its going to be trouble...on the road in that enviroment its best to play it safe right off the bat...get 8 shut the place down then go deep
tho it would make a difference if the eagles kick off first...if they get the ball on the second series the noise wouldnt be as great...especially if its after atl just punted
Quarterback sneak... and McNabb breaks out of the bunch for an 80-yard TD run.

the safeties suck and Carpenter is coming back from a torn ACL, it almost always takes players a full 2 years to be fully recovered from that injury. go after him and Scott. I think McNabb has a huge day through the air, even if Hall is able to curtail Owens a little bit, Lewis, Brown, LJ, and Westy out of the backfield should have the advantage over the defense.
3-wide draw to Westy, for 15 yds.

My first thought when reading this thread though was possibly a reverse to TO. Ried running the ball on the first play of the season. Who's going to be ready for that? :D
Oh yeah predict the "Horsetrailer" player of the game: I got Kearse with 2 sacks, FF, a batted ball, and 4 pressures.

TO. 148 yards, 3 TDs.
For the horsetrailer they've have both TO & Donovan to represent the feud between the two is over and they can get back to making babies.
Madden likes fat guys. He put Wilfork on the HT on Thurs even though he had 0 tackles. He had that one INT and got the HT.
If Andrews holds down Coleman and Madden notices...Shawn gets the HT.
14 yard completion to lewis or brown on that fake-hand-off-roll-to-the-strong-side-of-the-protection play.
^^^^
besides mine thats the best call of the thread
good job

when i said they were going to TO deep, i was figuring they would use the pass play that they use 2 out of 5 times
Reid loves to go deep to open up games (not necessarily season openers) so that's what I will predict.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, a run play?! That certainly would be surprising.
Play action... hits LJ down the seam for 17 yards.
play action deep fly to TO or GLew.
ive called it virtually every game and have been right.
its a gimme against divison rivals and prime time games.
First Play - Halfback Pass by Westy to G Lew for about 12 yards.
Horsetrailer POTG - McNabb 23-31 387 yards 3 td 4 rush 26 yards and 1 TD
Incomplete pass to LJ. Negated by False start on Tra.
POTG - Tito, for intercepting all of Vick's three passes.
Screen play to Westy ... 14 yards . . .
First play: Pinky limps out to the field and lines up right, McNabb passes to him for 2 yards. ;D (We're gonna miss that play this year :P)

You forgot the attempted stiff arm and the quick escort out of bounds ;)
D-Mac will go deep on the first series for sure.
Triple lindy.
I predict.....
Sheldon Brown WILL have an INT tonight.
McNabb is intercepted by Vick. Why? He's just that good.

Wrong. He will play solid and shut down his receiver. Lito will give up a big play, but will also have an INT.
Well, that's more likely anyway.
Flea Flicker - Bomb to Owens
Something exotic...Off tackle, right, to Westbrook.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Keith Adams will intercept a pass and return it for a TD.
