I really enjoy watching ESPN Primetime and I am going to miss it when NBC takes over. However, have you guys noticed how much Tom Jackson likes to say the word "and"?
"And, and, and, and, and, and the Jets really looked bad today..."
"And, and, and, and, and you know what? He's from Louisville."
And I was watching CBS' show this morning and I forgot how BRUTAL Shannon Sharpe is. Is their anyone who butchers words worse than this guy?!?! Oh my...listening to him try to talk is painful.
I can't stand watching those shows.
Too many idiots yapping and trying to outdo each other in terms of hype and controversy.
There should be three people in a studio show. 1 moderator, 1 expert, and 1 ex-player. Each would give their opinions on stories that were done by serious sports journalists instead of the vapid talking heads the networks hire instead.
There's no need for a hundred ex-jocks on every show because most of them are fricken annoying simpletons with no broadcasting ability. Cosell was right about that 25 years ago and it still holds true.
NFL Primetime is going to work out a deal with NBC to keep the coverage. 100% guaranteed.

Yea, 'cause NBC really cares about that.
NBC doesn't have a choice. ESPN owns all.
Steve Young picked Kyle Boller (along with Culpepper and Manning) to be his top 3 QBs for the season.
That's really all that needs to be said about NFL Studio Analysts.
