Title: Reid to hire Ike Reese as coach someday
Post by: MURP on September 11, 2005, 11:35:41 AM
QuoteAsked if they had to make any special changes to compensate for long-time former Eagle Ike Reese's knowledge of both the offense and defense, Reid conceded it's crossed his mind. "That's why I am going to hire Ike as a coach when he is done playing," he said. "He's one of my favorite guys. He's a smart guy. I know they have talked to him and quizzed him. He's a valuable player for them."

That was clearly a TO article, and you misrepresented it by tring to pass it off as an Ike article.

Yeah, but Ike left because he knew he had a better shot at starting in Atlanta, at least that is what he conceded was one of the reasons he ended up leaving for.
